QuickWit 42 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 Personally, I go for the handshake. 1 Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. -Bernard M. 碇 シンジン 27,431 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 When someone stranger is trying to greet me I usually look to ground and blush and do whatever greeting the other one suggests and not to mention my hands are so sweaty and I feel so awkward. If its someone i know I don't usually touch them or greet them in any way. Rarity Fan Club
Lunatic Cake 1,618 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 I'd say handshake on strangers, it surely would be strange to greet them with a high five or fistbump. As for friends, I don't necessarily greet them in a physical way, although I've been doing those fistbumps occasionally. Sig by: Kyoshi

SFyr 1,982 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 I usually offer them my hand when it's a respectful meeting. If they seem the type, I'll occasionally offer a fistbumb instead. Though often I'll just wave. Commission Thread | Deviantart | Poniverse Tumblr | Art Tumblr
Red Cedar 1,408 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 Depends entirely on who I'm greeting. I go for a nice conservative handshake for strangers or business, but do whatever tradition we have when it comes to close friends. CC_Maud_Pie 6,431 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 If it's a brony, I'll brohoof. Otherwise, I'll handshake. All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.

Sekr Gray 520 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 It boggles my mind that strangers need to touch each other before being friendly. With that being said, I generally prefer to go with a small salute or a small nod/bow, depending on the situation. Not completely adverse to handshakes though, since professional world runs on that contact
VitalSpark 1,830 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 Handshake. Unless it's for a formal occasion, in which case I'll normally go for the full moon. ~VitalSpark~ [fimfiction] [deviantart]

catnet 9,356 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 Does hiding in the corner count as a greeting? For strangers, I'd be formal and do a handshake. The more friendly our relationship, the closer I'd get to offering a brohoof instead.
Mutemutt 773 January 12, 2015 Share January 12, 2015 Yeah... I usually just say "Hi" or "hey" and the like. There's handshakes for the formal greetings but other than that, a verbal acknowledgement of someone's existence is enough for me. Heck, even just a nod in each other's direction will work for me. PoisonClaw 8,164 January 13, 2015 Share January 13, 2015 None of the above. I have a germophobic aversion to shaking hands, but I still sometimes shake hands if someone offers because I don't want to be rude. And the fist bump just looks and feels silly to me.
