The grill cooking smell really served my potential to keep working and strive off painful thoughts. I heard more sounds; the neighbors were even mowing the lawn. Incredible that I even smelled mowed grass at 6PM. Unique way to close the last day that my city is getting warm air for quite a while. TBD 17,254 March 8, 2023 Share March 8, 2023 Today was starting good so far. To begin, since Saturday my new boss was giving me shit about me not able to work on Sunday. So what I did was I purposely mess up one sale that I know will take till the next day which was that Sunday to fix. On Sunday my other assistant manager who’s also a bitch, worked on that day have to fix it. Everything gotten so far behind that My new boss have no choice but to come in on his day off to fix it with her. My assistant manager has been a bitch to me by holding me back in the manager job and micromanaging me all these years and now she’s getting the taste of her own medicine with my new boss micromanaging her on that Sunday. It was hell for her so heard from my co worker who was there on Sunday. Along with my new boss who have to come in on his day off to work. So it was like killing two bird with one stone. So today , I would’ve been in a huge pickle for that mistakes, but luckily i reported my district manager on the weekend about my new boss’s behavior for being a dick, and she finally talked to him. My new boss apologized to me today and he have no choice but to be lenient about my “mistake” after he got reported by me. And since I also told him (playing dumb), “oh I didn’t know about this since so many rules has changed since he came in.” He let it go. I let him eat his own words. He got some nerve to ask me how’s my weekend was. But I answered him “it was good and relaxing”, without asking him “how’s yours”. Because I know it gonna open a can of worm for him to bitch. Tropical Melody 6,067 March 19, 2023 Share March 19, 2023 (edited) Finding out that I can plot then export sat nav routes from OS Maps and import them into maps.me on the phone! This is really cool, because until now it could get quite complicated 'forcing' maps.me to go where I want, and there are only 3 possible stops, which I (wrongly, I know) used as vias. Now all I have to do (I say 'all', but there is the time of actually doing it ), is create a route in OS Maps (online), save it as whatever, then export it as a GPX (Garmin compatible), run an online converter on it to make it KML (a variation of XML format), email that to the 'phone, open the attachment with maps.me – it adds as a favourites bookmark with all the dropped pins! Then just make Route From at one end, Route To at the other end, proper job. This will save a helluva lot of time when it comes to following a route on the day.
