Taviscratch 453 March 3, 2015 Share March 3, 2015 The title says it all: What is your favourite weapon from history? There have been a few threads on people's favourite fictional weapon so I thought I'd do something a little different. As for me, I'm rather partial to the Schiavona. Doesn't it just exude elegance? How about you guys and gals? 3 Sig by [member=~TheGammy~]

Tao 7,764 March 3, 2015 Share March 3, 2015 I love blades and swords but the samurai blade is one that stands out and has been proven to be one of the best weapons man has made: grace and sharp!
Panne 1,342 March 3, 2015 Share March 3, 2015 (edited) Effectiveness:Mustard Gas: I mean yeah it's illegal, horrible, inhumane, and stuff, but man you want to take down and entire army in a matter of seconds without sending in any troops? Old school: Halberd: You can chop, poke, and you keep a good distance from the enemy too. edit: I love how everyone is like oh they're so elegant and cool looking and I'm just sitting here thinking about their actual use, killing. Why do we glorify weapons when they are literally made to kill people? Edited March 3, 2015 by Panne

zombienixon 330 March 3, 2015 Share March 3, 2015 As for general types of weapons, mine would be the cavalry saber and the bayonet. If we're getting more specific, I'd have to go with the Luger the Browning M2 (playing War Thunder has given me a great appreciation for these guns) the MG34 (I prefer the looks of this to the 42, rate of fire be damned) and the PPSh 41
