Who has the most snug and adorable home?

Fluttershy's home hands down. It's nice and quiet.

All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.

Golden Oak Library is my favourite. The roominess and how clean it usually is kind of reminds me of my own home. Not to mention that living inside a tree sounds rather cozy.

I also like Carousel Boutique. Like Golden Oak Library, it's roomy and clean look gives off a homey look. I also like how modern it looks overall.

Fluttershy's cottage easily. I mean that's the whole point of a cottage, make it feel warm and homey. Plus it's neatly tucked into the edge of a forest, it just looks like a snug little home to live in. I've lived the cottage live before, since my Aunt and Uncle own a log cabin and it's pretty fantastic....It really gets you in touch with nature, I love the cottage life. Cottages are just so warm and cozy inside. Not to mention the amount of adorable critters running around outside such as chipmunks, squirrels and other wildlife. ;)

Fluttershy's lover, she's my waifu. I'm in love and obsessed with her, she's given me shyabetes. *Hnnnng*

I feel like the only one who wouldn't think Fluttershy' cottage would be great. :( Maybe living with a lot of animals would be great, but I don't see it.

I don't know enough about Twilight's new home to know anything, and her old home was destroyed. I don't think a destroyed house would be adorable.

Rainbow's house is only suitable for winged ponies, so if you don't have wings, it's not great at all.

Rarity's and Pinkie's homes double as businesses, so having people come in would be annoying.

Applejack's house is technically a business too, but ponies won't randomly go in that house. It seems very comfortable, and there is also the smell of apples to add to it.

Rarity may be my favorite pony, but Sweet Apple Acres is the winner.

@@TheMarkz0ne, Might consider adding a poll to this one.

I'd have to say the Library pre-smoosh. All of the books, and the layout with the staircase and all. Twilight's bed looks super comfy, and everything in it matches. I'll miss it.  :(

Either Twilight's library or Carousel Boutique. Both looked extra nice and cozy to me. :) And I thought they had the prettiest designs.

RIP library tree, they took you from us far too soon. Imagine coming home to there from a snowstorm in the winter.  And now imagine fresh hot chocolate made by your always helpful dragon assistant, who will cozy up next to you as you make a little nest of blankets, from which you can mount an assault on a book series you'd always meant to read. Imagine a nice hot fire in the fireplace, and the realization that somebody thought it was a good idea to put a fireplace in a tree filled with flammable books.

It sounds perfect . Fluttershy's cottage is a distant, distant, distant second.

As somebody who has spent a good part of the last four years working on a to-scale recreation of Ponyville in Minecraft, and having consulted many people in a range of related professions and professional levels, I can safely say the following would be my preferences:

In third place we have Carousel Boutique.  While it is a cozy little home, and it does have a good bit of privacy despite being also a place of business, Rarity's home leaves much to be desired in the lack of natural lighting in minor rooms and wasted floor space once you get off the first floor due to the buildings' design.  The lack of floor space for the private quarters due to being primarily a place of business definitely leaves me wanting more.

In second place there is the former Golden Oaks Library.  While it would be a nice place to live with a wonderful view, Twilight's former home suffers from the same flaw as Carousel Boutique in that it is a place of business more than a home, resulting in an improperly planned private quarters.  While what we see definitely has a warm feeling to the place, the lack of any real bathroom (there is no empty floor space for one) and an abject lack of furniture (and while an easy fix, it is true) keep this home edged out by number one.

Before we get to first place, let us take a moment to discuss the runners up:

Sweet Apple Acres:  Definitely has the down-home cozy feel to it, but due to the barn doubling as the home there is hardly any personal space, and this is compounded by having separate bedrooms for all four residents.  The end result is something that would be more cramped than cozy if you're like myself and you enjoy a little leg room.

Friendship Rainbow Kingdom Castle:  No.  Wait, let me clarify.  NO.

Sugarcube Corner:  And here we go with another building suffering from the cramped private quarters due to doubling as a place of business.  The addition of Sugarcube Corner being located in one of the busier areas of town, and a popular business, means there is definitely a lack of privacy.  Mix in the addition of having the number of bodies it does in its location and you're asking for trouble at some point.  Does get props for having the wonderful smell of baked goods on a daily basis, however.

Cloudominium:  Ironically enough, the pegasus pony who is all about action and adventure and not fashion lives in a house that is more fashion than function.  Incredibly drafty and exposed to weather, the floor space, open air design, and privacy of the home do not make up for the architectural flaws.  And now for number one.

In first place is Fluttershy's cottage.  No fancy names, no truly faulty architectural decisions.  Just a cozy little cottage with all the amenities one needs or wants for a home.  About the only flaw with the home is just it being out of the way due to the location at the edge of Ponyville and its closeness to what is considered a hostile forest.

However, what the home does provide is more than enough to make it my number one pick for a cozy, snug, and relaxing place to live.
