Just how old do ponies get?

We all know Celestia and Luna are well over a thousand years old, its been established time and time again. But just how old does your average, run of the mill pony get? It seems that ponies age much more slowly than you'd expect, considering the following:

 

Granny Smith has been around since the founding of Ponyville. Now, Its also never been established just how old Ponyville is, but considering the Apples have had time to colonize pretty much the entirety of Equestria, it would seem to be longer than an adult lifetime of ~60 years. 

 

Again, using the Apple family as an example, the Apple Family Reunion happens approximately once every 8.5 years (over 100 "moons" or months.) This puts a definite separation between the awakening of the Elements of Harmony (Applejack mentions in Applebuck Season that all of the Apples were in town for the reunion when Twilight met them) and the next Apple Family Reunion (in Season 3) of over 8 years. Applebloom in that time still has not gotten her Cutie Mark and has not grown perceptibly. 

 

Thoughts? Any other examples of weirdly aging ponies?

Well we know that ponyville is hundreds of years old as said in Winter Wrap up. Granny Smith was there since the beginning so they must live for hundreds of years before dying.

In The Cutie Mark Chronicles, Derpy looked exactly the same when Twilight was just a filly. :/

Derpy may just be older than the mane 6, ponies don't seem to go into a middle age, they seem to age like Asian women

That's not too bad. Sometimes there's like 4 or 5 Derpy's in a crowd at one time. I don't think they can make too many different pony designs, that would take up too much time.

Plot holes are part of the problem, and it doesn't really help that we're given so little info on things like this. Heck; not even the comics have touched on this yet.

 

Now, I wouldn't be too shocked to find out that Ponyville isn't that old; maybe having been around 80 or 90 so years? It's possible, but I have nothing to base that off of.

I'd say a human life span might lightly given how each pony

lives their life style.   I mean if smoke or drink (yah not much in a

child hood show) and don't move around than that effects how long

they will live and such.  In given to Granny smith,  she does move around

and eats and stays active so and also the "farming" helps so she is well,

in a very good area to live a full and healthy life span.

I think they have near human life-spans and because Equestria is such a peaceful place and it seems to have pretty good healthcare facilities, most ponies live a long life.

 

So I'd say most ponies live around until their late 70s or early 80s.

Someone came up with the theory that Twilight would outlive her friends, her being an alicorn now. But I don't really know, I like to think they all have some sort of gene that keeps them alive forever ;_; Or maybe they just don't age.
