You're talking about that song from anastasia, the goosebumps confirmed it. It does have a waltzy feel, though it's more about finding what one lost, hoping to reclaim a part of ones self that is no longer there. You could try looking through religious, supportive, rebellious, soundtrack and love songs for something hopeful. Right now I can thing of Dig by incubus, it's a love song about having the other try to get past something that's changed about you and get you back to the one they fell in love with. Nickelback's Lullaby is good for lifting others. Lean on me is a good supportive song.Dear faust the list is huge. Try those and get back t me, I'll be doing some "digging" (totally intended) of mine own to see if I can narrow the list.  

I'll check those songs out, but honestly, an instrumental would be best. I'm less concerned with capturing the "hope" element and more concerned with the rest of the list of qualities.

I took a re-listen (know the song but haven't listened in a while for reasons); It's no voodoo but I'd still be wary of using Once Upon A December. Highly entrancing and quite too the point. 

 

I'm still working on it though. There's a song for everyone and I aim to find yours.

Also, none of my OCs have a theme song. It's mostly because A. My taste in music is very small and B. I feel as if explaining them by song is a little too much. I would just to explain them by simple words.

The OC section is not so much about the discussion and showcasing of OCs, but it's more meant for giving feedback and assistance on making people's pony OCs better. As such, it belongs in Sugarcube Corner.

You could say so. She's laid back, completely harmless and sort of does her own thing, so I think this song is pretty fitting for that type of character.

I've gone back and forth trying to find one, unfortunately the ones I find usually end up being mysterious in a terrifying way, which does not describe me or my OC which is me...

I had to go with this particular recording because it is all winds, which also is something that is great for my OC/me.

 

I like this one, because being a fugue from its era, it ends up sounding like somewhat of a mess (a beautiful mess IMO) and that's exactly what my OC would be, seeing as she is me. There's also the nature of the work, which is that it was composed as a memorial, but the pieces aren't too sad... and I like that, but I'll stop there before I try to tie in why I think that fits. lol

 

It's probably disrespectful (considering it is a memorial piece, and not to me lol) to even think of using this piece... If so, I apologize.

I took a listen, then there was this loud "BOOF" noise (though I can't figure out for the life of me where it came from nor why my head suddenly feels cold) but there's a strong feel to it that I like. It definitely suits amber.  Kinda figured the herd's music wouldn't fit, to air-y and sky based. I was gonna suggest some pride, jungle, and even native tones next.

Twas supposed to be funny. Anywho I went from the far north, back to some old pouncing grounds and am now letting the jungle commune with my instincts. Up among the native tribes I found "Wakes as a Bear" by phil collins, adventurous, playful, exciting, curious. Among my old hunting grounds I found "This Land"; Majestic, shining, expressive, deep. (and painful).   In the jungle.... still listening actually but I'm thinking "A Wonderous Place", The Gorillas" or "One Family" . All can be used to describe a soul/personality, and the growths it may go through by learning/experience or doing what they enjoy. All or most of these songs are by Hans Zimmer despite what the videos say.
