(Former) Closet Brony Question: When did you get out? Or how are you gonna?

This is a question for for anyone out there who is a (former) closet brony.

just as the title says: when did you come out? or are you planning to?

 

I just said to everyone, yup I`m a brony, I did not have a time in the closet as it were, so I`m quite intrested in (former) closet brony stories.

Way back when I first became a brony, I was so scared of telling people what I liked. I thought my friends would ridicule me and call me names if I ever told them. I have a history of being bullied and the experience has led me to being afraid of ridicule. That was why for the longest time I was VERY shy and was even afraid of speaking up in class. Now, I honestly don't care what people think of me. As of currently only my parents know but not my friends yet. This is because the brony topic have not came up in our conversations. There really is no need to talk about the show unless they ask (or if I find out that one of them is a fan (: ). So that's my story; not long or anything. Hope you enjoyed it.

I was pretty nervous about letting people know I was into MLP, but I didn't have some big "coming out of the closet" moment. I just stopped hiding it and my friends eventually picked up that I was into MLP.

 

You don't need to have some big reveal. Personally, I think that's kind of silly.

I do not plan on coming out of the closet ever but over the years most of my closer friends have found out I'm a Brony but they could not care less. I think both my parents know too but they're the 'Do not give a single damn about anything' kind of people.

 

Come to think of it everyone I know just would not care even if I turned up wearing a Pinkie Pie T-Shirt and had 'I love my little pony' tattooed on my forehead.
