I just got halo 4 and halo 3 ODST, I just got this topic going to ask what is your top 3 halo games. Mine are

Out of the ones I have owned myself, I *love* Halo 4. I loved it as much as Halo 3, personally. Combat Evolved was also up there with those.

Ah, the glorious Halo franchise. Who knew Bungie would go from this to making Destiny. Activision is especially good at taking great developers and destroying theme. 

 

My top 3 favorites are:

1. Halo Reach
2. Halo 2
3. Halo Combat Evolved

I was not as fond of Halo 3 as many are and 4, while still good, just wasn't up to par. Halo 5 is a game that irritates me to no end. I feel like the 3 I chose have the best overall gameplay and atmosphere. Halo 2's gameplay is actually a pretty huge improvement over 1.

Put simply, the game has one of the best campaigns In existence. It was an introduction into a world that's been expanded by countless books,games and shows. That in combination with some amazing LAN party memories make it my favourite. Also I've estimated about 2000+ hours in the game.

 

2: Halo ODST

 

Probably the only Halo game that comes close to being my favourite Halo campaign. The atmosphere, characters and music are outstanding. By shaking up the usual formula they managed to pull off something pretty incredible.

 

3: Halo 2

 

Halo 2 also had an amazing campaign, I think I've played it over 100 times from start to finish. That in combination with a multiplayer that literally changed the landscape makes it an easy third for me.

I love everything about that game, and it's not just for nostalgia. Even going back and playing it recently, it's a lot of fun, and is miles ahead of the others in every way imo.

The campaign in this one was alright. Kind of meh, but not bad.

Halo is a good game, talking about the first one. It is very cool and groundbreaking!
