Bethesda recently put a timer on their Fallout section of their website (http://bethsoft.com) which probably means that something big regarding Fallout is coming. Maybe 4, or maybe a remaster of the earlier two games? Or New Vegas 2?

Inadvertently leaked on the official website an hour ahead of its scheduled announcement, here’s Fallout 4, coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

 

The official Fallout 4 website went live for some a bit early today, revealing that the game will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

 

The site also included a link for a video, which isn't live yet, before the details were removed. The teaser site for the game is still showing a countdown timer to 10 a.m. ET, which we suspect will be when we get our look at the hidden video and, hopefully, much more details.

Imminent Fallout 4 announcement for sure. We will probably get an announcement of some sort tomorrow then show us footage potentially at E3. I can feel the hype already building on the internet. After watching the trailer, I am totally ready to return to the Wasteland.  Actually, that's not entirely true, I was already ready to return to the Wasteland even before I saw the trailer, but now I'm even more psyched to do so.    From the looks of things, it looks like it might indeed be taking place in the Boston/New England region as was previously rumored, given what some of the urban structures appeared to look like in the trailer, and I am totally okay with that.  I'm an Americanist history graduate student, so colonial architecture and sites mixed with a sprawling, post-apocalyptic 1950s-ish world, totally up my alley.

This is going on the PC. No doubt about it. At least for me. And all of the more reason on me having begun writing a side-fic of FoE. Even made references of past Fallout games. And I'm sure Gabe is extremely pleased with this.

A quick followup to my previous post, as reported by IGN, Boston has indeed been confirmed as the location of Fallout 4.  And yes, that was totally the USS Constitution as a jury-rigged frigate/airship in the trailer (I've actually written blog posts about the USS Constitution before, so for me, that's awesome)!  Here's the link to the story:

I don't know how I feel about this. I'm a fan of Fallout Equestria, yes, but I've barely touched Fallout 3 so I'm not if I would even begin to enjoy Fallout 4.

Also, I hope it gets regular updates in dealing with bugs for all three platforms. Even the devs at Steam will be eager to lend a hand.
