Ok im gonna go super fanboy right now, that bethesda e3 conference was incredible. Dishonered 2, doom etc, and something else... Oh right, FALLOUT 4

Did you see those weapon and armor crafting screens

Or the dialogue wheel(a personal favorite)

Or House building

Or dog commands

Or the way the guns worked and looked and felt so real

Or or that each armor piece was separate (i.e. Shoulders, kneepads, etc)

Or The new pip boy and vats

Or the other stuff

Or JUST EVERYTHING, it just works

Fanboying aside, or amplified depending, what did you guys think?!?!

Fallout 4... Can't wait :D

You also get a garage where you can customize a suit of power armor for yourself :)

I've been getting more into writing fanfics, mainly MLP since it has such a deep pool of creativity to pull from.

I'm good with character and story concepts, so if you need help with a fanfic or something feel free to Private message me

But don't be hurt if I have to decline if I'm tapped out for a bit. Otherwise I'm fairly good at it just sometimes I have to let my mind subconsciously think of some ideas.

OCs: Radiant Sentinel, Sulfur Flash Sentinel (FoE descendant of Radiant Sentinel)

I don't get hyped for video game reveals like these, sorry

I don't want to ruin my expectations for the games by getting overly excited for them.  Happened to me with Dark Souls 2 and I won't let it happen to me again with Fallout.

Sure I'm still ready for Fallout 4.  I'm just not into the whole hype thing.

It probably won't be, remember hype only leads to dissapointment.

I'll note here that I haven't seen anything for it yet but...

Or dog commands

Depending on how this is done it could bog down combat completely or help move it along.

Or the way the guns worked and looked and felt so real

This is probably the least important thing in any video game ever to me.

Or or that each armor piece was separate (i.e. Shoulders, kneepads, etc)

Sounds completely unnecessary and it's just gonna hike up the costs of everything. I already have a hard enough time getting Caps in Fallout games. And unless each individual piece does something unique it seems pretty unnecessary to have so many different defense values.

I disagree. I've never allowed hype to affect my expectations of a game. I consider them two different things.

Getting hype about video games, for me, has often left me with a feeling of emptiness when the game isn't up to par with my expectations that have been obscured by the "hype train".

That's just my fault though, I get overtly disappointed and cynical about things very easily.

I liked that you could built potentially an entire community. I feel like that would be a natural role playing idea as the guy's entire world and family was ripped from him seemingly in the blink of an eye so he would likely try to recapture some of that.

One thing I hope they have improved is the melee combat. I've always been a dedicated melee/unarmed guy.

That's almost never happened with me. The only times it has is when I went back to an older game after playing a more recent game in the franchise and somehow expecting it to be as great. Drakengard was one of these. After playing Nier I expected too much from the game. lol

I'm on the side of "I've never been much of a fan of Fallout or Bethesda in general" so this being one of the biggest announcements of the year for so many people doesn't have any such affect on me.

I'm also overly critical of Bethesda's games. For whatever reason I don't consider them cream of the crop games like most do.
