SET318MLP 55 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 I still sometimes wonder but it might be because I've only been a brony for 1.5 weeks lol
GuyNamedEarl 1,332 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 I neither know nor care why I'm a brony. I only know that it is an awesome show and part of my life. SystemError514. 86 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 When I first started liking MLP, I really couldn't understand why I liked it, but I did. I think that now it's because it always cheers me up, and even when I'm happy, it just goes even further. Kyoshi Frost Wolf 42,207 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 This question hit me very early on when I started watching the show. It just felt so strange to me but that strange feeling quickly became pure joy as I embraced the show more and more. The rest is blissful history I think. ^___^ I realized that there is no need to question my love for a show that is wonderful like this. The fandom did make that process a lot easier for sure. 1 Redeem me into childhood. Show me myself without a shell.
whillyumarie 6 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 If it's a kid's show and has cute and relatable characters, then I don't see why I would love it to bits. The talking ponies are a huge plus too.
Catpone Cerberus 23,771 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 I watch the show because I like it, but I have no idea why I like it. 1 “Cats!” “Cats!” “Music!” “Cats!” “Cats!” “(^・ω・^ )ノ” Ask me something! https://mlpforums.com/topic/139270-ask-the-cerberus/#entry4129993Signature by @Stevonnie
Skyl1ne 0 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 I often do wonder that. Why, at my age, am I watching a show aimed at girls 5+? A lot of people have different reasons for watching it. And time to go make a new topic with a similar question in mind...
cuteycindyhoney 13,341 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 I've never wondered. Since episode one, I'm solidly secure in the knowledge that I enjoy a fine example of the animated arts. Thank you Sparklefan1234!!!
Empty Room 512 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 Sometimes I wonder, "Why do I even watch this show?" But then I think that it doesn't matter too much. I enjoy it, after all. Koori 156 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 (edited) I myself don't really care if a cartoon or a TV show is meant for girls or boys or if it's childish. What I care about is if I can enjoy it, if I can relate to it, the characters and such, and is the story good MLP: FiM pretty much covers all these so I'm okay with watching it and haven't really wondered "Why am I watching this show?" Xeltor23 704 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 I know why you can ask yourself this kind of questions, as for me, I do because I like the characters, because it's really funny at times, not for the friendship lessons really. Also, because of how it's mostly not like the previous generations
Cwanky 17,801 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 Its good entertainment that I enjoy which also happens to have interesting moral themes and messaging. If and when FiM gets stale and bad, like The Simpsons or Family Guy at times now, I'll stop watching it. Until then though, enjoy the ride. Pokemons are gaaay 113 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 Because Its a good show that I enjoy, and I live and breath cartoons so nobody would be surprised if they caught me watching it Well, you've stumbled upon my post. Dark Horse 12,976 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 If any TV show has managed to hold my attention this long, it's because I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Were that not the case I'd probably have a backlog of about 15 episodes by now, but I've managed to keep up to date for as far as now at least. For someone who sparsely watches TV shows live that's quite a feat. "Always watching - Always lurking." Signature by @Kyoshi

Daring_Do 552 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 While I'm watching MLP sometimes I wonder why am I watching this? Then curl up into a fetal position and shake back and forth. Yeah, I do, actually. Minus the last sentence. I've questioned myself more than a few times. I'm not really here, I guess, purely out of love for the show. I came here for reasons, and one of those reasons... Turns out to have let me down. But here I am, still watching. I guess I could leave.
