I played the Luna Game and now I need help with my computer!

I don't know what I was thinking playing that. I knew about the scary picture and everything but I didn't realize how much it would scare me but I should've realized it would scare me since I'm afraid of the dark (yup, I'm 18 and I'm afraid of the dark). I don't know how I'm even gonna get back to my room since I'll have to walk through dark rooms. But you can't help me with that. I need help with my computer. When that picture of Apple Bloom popped up, I immediately closed my computer and covered my ears until the music stopped. I waited a while and then opened my computer again, hoping that it would be gone. The screen was black and there was no sound but the power button was lit up. Then the power button turned off and the computer stopped making those sounds computers make, so I turned it back on and the picture and the music came back so I closed it again. What do I do? If I open it the picture and the music will come back and I can't stand it! And I don't want to restart my computer because I'm in the middle of an antivirus scan and it takes forever because my computer is insanely slow (it took me over 10 minutes just to download the Luna Game). In case this is important, I have Windows 10.

Turn your computer on and press Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Pressing those keys simultaneously interrupts and stops any function your computer is currently doing. (It won't stop your anti-virus scan).

If that doesn't work, then the only way I see you being able to get rid of it is by restarting your computer.

I know all that. I've been using computers since I was five. But that doesn't help because I'll still have to see the picture and hear the music and I can't stand it!

Just let it play out the sequence with out looking at it or try alt+ctrl+delete, nothing you can do other then that other then maybe alt+f4.

Perhaps you could mute your speakers and then do WINDOWS BUTTON + D to switch to your desktop before doing CTRL + ALT + DELETE so that you don't have to see it or hear it.

Hey, I found this one the CreepyPasta wiki: "the game will neither close with the ESC key nor with ALT+F4. The mouse will stay stuck at the bottom right of the screen as well, and the game window stay on top of every other window. The only way to close the game at this point, is to open Task Manager (via CTRL+ALT+DEL) and end the process by navigating to the program using the arrow keys and pressing Enter or ALT+E. Otherwise the game automatically closes after a while on its own."

Your computer's going on sleep mode. You have to exit the game manually. Whenever you open up your computer from sleep mode, it will automatically display everything you had open, unless you have it set to lock before going to sleep.

Oh, thank goodness! It closed while I was trying to get to the task manager! That thing isn't nearly as scary during the day. I wonder why I was still able to move my cursor. I couldn't do anything because it was Nightmare Moon (I have a full set of Princess Luna cursors and Nightmare Moon means busy), but I could move it. Maybe it's because I have Windows 10.

The songs (there's two) last up to 50 seconds and 2 minutes, so it's not really a burden on your computer. I know you've resolved the issue, but just be cautious of what you download next time.

I knew what was gonna happen. I just thought I'd be able to handle it. Aren't I supposed to have a bunch of files on my computer that were placed there by that game? I can't find them.

Did you extract the game file from the .zip folder when you opened it? If you just opened it from the archive, the files won't show up.

Yeah, I extracted it. (mustmakepostlonger)

Well, that's odd. Normally the files show up if you've extracted the game and opened it in a folder, but I've no idea why it didn't happen for you. Strange stuff.

It must be because I have Windows 10.
