darkwingmare 1,319 September 6, 2015 Share September 6, 2015 I don't see the point in any of those names. I'll just call myself a MLP fan in general. “You have brains in your head. Scarecrow 44 September 7, 2015 Share September 7, 2015 Brony, However some people view that as werid and uncommon well if half the U.S.A is in to it then it's not uncommon. I'm a christian brony and im proud.

Varrack 1,080 September 21, 2015 Share September 21, 2015 I'm a fan of MLP. I like a show that I see as something *anyone* would like. So why should I give myself a special name for liking it? I'm not sure about the term "brony", because it has negative stereotypes attached to it and is just kind of a corny word.
best poni 1,518 September 22, 2015 Share September 22, 2015 I think that pegasister sounds better for girls because the word "Brony" is the combination of "Bro" and "Pony" and guys are called bros and not girls, but whatever you want to do is fine. It's fine either way! (btw, I'm male) Signature by Laika
Kivil 1,721 September 22, 2015 Share September 22, 2015 I call myself a brony because pegasister sounds stupid and I like brony more ~My life is a bunch of Discord~Yes, the pun was intended~Kivil~
Measure Theory 44 September 25, 2015 Share September 25, 2015 Personally, I don't really mind that much. I do like pegasister, but I also like brony. I think it's a little silly that we differentiate titles based on gender though, so often I'll use brony. A simple math nerd.
Pucksterv 4,508 September 25, 2015 Share September 25, 2015 (edited) I think Brony still sounds way more awesome than Pegasister And the term Brony is way more familiar than Pegasister to non-Bronies If I tell someone I'm a Pegasister they have no idea what I'm talking about. But when I tell them I'm a Brony, they know exactly what I'm talking about. Dolphanatic 298 October 9, 2015 Share October 9, 2015 I'm a male, and I use "brony" because "brony" is the gender- and age-neutral term for fans of FIM. I hate the term "pegasister," because it unnecessarily segregates the fandom based on gender by relying on the sexist "'brony' = 'male fan'" lie. Well, to be fair, "bro" is a masculine term. A lot of female fans are simply wierded out by the idea of being addressed as a "bro", hence the reason why the term "Pegasister" was created. Obviously, they still classify as members of the Brony fandom, regardless of whatever they call themselves. 1 74 Roller Coasters Ridden (64 Steel, 1 Hybrid, 9 Wood)! See me at Coasterpedia. chirox the pony 1,336 October 9, 2015 Share October 9, 2015 Whilst I prefer the term brony I tend to just try and call myself an MLP fan these days. The term brony is just so cheesy. 1 No matter how hard I try these ponies will simply never leave me.
