How much has MLP changed your life?

For me it's not so much the show as it is the fandom. I mean sure people can be jerks but more often then not you'll come across a fan (like you guys) who makes you feel great about yourself. In my experience It's the fans who encouraged me to be more extroverted and out in the community .

Mostly got me back into doing graphics on the pc and sharing them out with other people.  Gives me something to do also online.

Changed is a big word. I love mlp and it's helped me be a more social person. I haven't exactly become the princess of friendship but Ive been better at small talk I noticed and feel more comfortable in my own skin. It's made my social life a lot better than it probably would ever be if I hadn't watched mlp. Life changing no but definatly effective

I've become a better writer thanks to MLP. Writing fanfiction is a great way to help me get better at writing and posting them to fimfiction helps give me the advice and comments I need to become a better writer.

I don't care what pony you like because I like everypony!

While it hasn't improved my social life much (more like damaged it, as liking a show about brightly colored magical ponies isn't very popular in high school), it has changed me drastically. It gave me something to look forward to, waiting for a new episode or a new fan-made song, and introduced me to wonderful places such as this website, where I've seen so many wonderful and intelligent people. Honestly, I could never thank the creators enough. It brought some much needed light into my life.

Well, I doubt I'd have a life at all right now if I never discovered the show, so there's that. x3 It's also made my life and outlook a whole lot more positive, plus it led me to this community which has done much the same for me. ^_^

It has changed my life about a medium amount. It cured my depression and it has got me back into writing and it made me more social on the Internet. I even knew more about gaming after joining the fandom.

Most things didn't change about the way I live, but I probably would be dead now. Why? I had already made attempts on my own life at the time, because I was extremely depressed. But the show alleviated this condition, by making me see that more people really do give a care about me than I had thought. I just had to be more appreciative of the few I had, and that list has actually expanded, a good bit.

Also, I would never have known that the love of my life was out there. Sure he lives in Michigan, but he does exist! <3

I know for sure that the show has change me in a way I can fit in with the others much better and not receive any hate from others from things I used to do in the past before I came across MLP.

Completely changed my life!

I have a new perspective on how to treat people, my daily activities changed, and I made more friends than I ever had before. Before I would have never taken up reading for fun, but now I do it weekly and I talk to friends ever second of my days. Coming to the fandom was the best decision of my life!

MLP has really changed my life, especially for the better. I met the love of my life through his love of the series and he saw how depressed I was and used MLP to simply cheer me up and make me happy  Everyday I fall more in love with him and feel grateful to have him in my life. So I am also truly grateful to MLP too

  • 3 weeks later...

I'm curious as to other people's stories on this topic :D

Well, I think about ponies every day now. MLP has altered my philosophical view on life. I've experienced a range of emotions that I wouldn't have otherwise. I found a bunch of awesome music that I enjoy, and I found a community of great people who share my interests and are surprisingly similar to me in any regards. Making friends on here is way easier than any other site I've been on.

In real life, I don't act different than I used to. If you knew me before and after I found this show I doubt you'd notice a difference in me. But that is largely due to my already-fortunate circumstances that have benefitted me throughout my life, so finding this whole thing wasn't too much of a shock. I knew there were some good shows out there but this is definitely something regardless.
