Would Fluttershy be sad if one of her animals died?

In "Tanks for the memories," Fluttershy helps Rainbow by telling her quite sternly that her her winter is going to be pet-less. I imagine she's also had multiple experiences with animals dying, seeing as she's around them almost all of the time. So, would she really be that sad if one of them died? or was the stern lesson to Rainbow something she had to do because nothing else would work?

Of course she'd be sad, that's just a natural reaction. She wouldn't be a completely inconsolable wreck though, since she would probably understand that this is just a natural thing, especially considering that more than a few animals she has cared for over the years had died, were of a species with short lifespans or were so injured or sick she could only make their remaining time more pleasant.
