It's about that time of year again Halloween. My favorite holiday and time of year as well. I was wondering if any of you that plan on trick or treating were planning as cosplaying as?

 

I'm wanting to dress up as Jack from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy actually. I randomly ran across a artwork of him last night and it brought back good memories of watching that show. He was my favorite character from that show and always loved his character scheme.

 

So if any of you plan on having a blast this Hallow's Eve what do you have in mind that you would like to cosplay as?

This year, I plan on going to Waverly Hills and a few other fun attractions (fav part of Hallows Eve). I plan to dress as something simple or something humorous. ​

You know honey? This year I will visit a park, wear a dark cloak and throw raw meat at children... right after I congratulate Streiben Bones because of his birthday lol.

 

Sounds like a lovely plan for this Halloween just don't get arrested and put on the news for throwing raw meat at people xD. I'll have to wish Streiben a happy birthday as well .

I'm hoping to get a Halloween tattoo. I've always loved 3spooky5me kinda stuff. I don't usually pick a theme I just find a really disturbing mask and wear that. I tricked and treated until people told me to get off their property hahaha

That's for sure I'll let you know what I think whenever I get around to watching it. I have high hopes from all the things I've heard about it from others throughout the years.

Every year my (tiny) town hosts all of the (tinier) towns towards the coast for Halloween, so our population goes from around 700 to about 3000. The best part is that our house has a really steep driveway, so we never get trick-or treators.

 

Instead, husband and I walk down to the more populated parts of town, because one of the neighbors does these fantastic pumpkin carvings. I asked last year if he would do an MLP one this year. We'll see if it actually happens.

 

Last year I was Ciel Phantomhive, while my husband dressed up as his butler Sebastian Michaelis. Even better, my husband's name is Sebastian, and he's a foot taller than me, so it worked out well.

 

The year before that I was Fluttershy.

 

We'll probably moonlight as Cadance and Shining Armor this year. He's not a pony fan, but he puts up with my adoration for it fairly well, and we already have the costumes.

To be honest, if I go to a party it will probably just be my generic Spetsnaz costume. It's really the only thing I have in terms of costumes at the moment and I dumped a fair bit of money into it. That and a lot of people have just come to expect me to do Russian related stuff.

OMG do you live near Waverly Hills? The Ghost Adventures crew went there on an investigation, I would love to go to a haunted place or an abandoned place that's haunted. In terms of Halloween, I'll probably dress up for fun.

Even though if someone saw someone of my age trick or treating they'd stare at me awkwardly and refuse to give me any candy, I'm still gonna dress up. I'm thinking of wearing yellow pony ears and wings and being fluttershy for halloween.  I'd get a lot of weird looks, but I don't care!

Yessss! I love Halloween! It's my favourite holiday next to Christmas. Halloween is near to my Birthday as well, so it makes that slightly more atmospheric (and spooky) too! I don't know who or what I'm dressing up as, but I definitely plan on trick or treating. I usually pick a random outfit, but I might try something different this year. I go with my friends, who don't really know I like MLP except for two of them, so I won't go as a pony... I'll try something from a good TV show or something! But I always decorate my house for Halloween, banners everywhere. I like to make holidays a big deal all the time! If I celebrate an occasion, I really like to go all out

Me and my friends are doing a schoolgirl theme this year  . We're all gonna be overly preppy, flamboyant cheerleaders and act all froofy the whole night. All that'll be seen will be a whole bunch of bright colors and ponytails bouncing everywhere  . May go to a party after trick or treating, but I dunno.

 

Then toward the late evening we're taking some little ones around to different churches for candy ^^.

I don't really know yet. I don't think I'll cosplay unless there's some party I'm invited to or anything I can cosplay at. I think you can dress up at my school, but we don't have any special halloween events, just a regular school day. If I could, I'd probably cosplay as a FNaF character, and go around jumpscaring people(maybe with a speaker, maybe making the sound w/ my mouth).

I'm so angry. I used to trick or treat every years until last year when I got my first job. I work Friday and Saturday nights, so I miss trick-or-treating because it is always on the Friday where I live, no matter when Halloween actually is. Of course this corresponds with my time in life when I really want to make a cool costume.

 

I was thinking either Jack Bauer or Danny Phantom. Either one would be fun to make. The first would be hard to pull off, but would allow for a lot of creativity. The latter would be easier to pull off and look really accurate.

But hey, there is always school. We do a thing where people can wear stuff to school for a day.
