The inconsistency of the fight scenes in the first Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey, Jr. So he can analyze a giant pit fighter's weak points and cripple him for at least a month, but is completely helpless against a giant thug? And the thug can shrug off everything but freaking Force Lightning---and even then, he eventually just crushes the device and resumes curbstomping Holmes, making that thing a Big-Lipped Alligator Moment---but can suddenly do down with just a low blow, an armbar, and a sleeper hold?

 

P.S.: They're actually good fight scenes, just mind-bogglingly inconsistent.
