And yes, I'm fine with knocking down the low current discharge to one or two seconds. After all, not killing ponies is one of her key pre-programmed codes of conduct. The magic she would absorb would be redirected to briefly: rapidly augment her current strength or speed, her self repairs, her magnetism, setting up a barrier, establishing a sight to sight teleport, unleashing a magic shock wave, or if she saves up enough, giving herself a short lived super form IE: Midnight Sparkle, Daybreak Shimmer, Rainbow Power,etc. That is, if she can survive the damage of each magic attack she's dealt, the super form especially. Given the circumstances, and the rather long wait (which we're sorry for) that you were willing to go through, I see no issue with letting you into Bangcolt's RP. I guess rl is getting in the way so if you want I'll start up with you? The plan was for me to find away to get my character involved with Night after they post and I can do that from any point as long as I stay out of fights till then. Not Yellow Diamond 924 July 4, 2016 Share July 4, 2016 My apologies to everyone, I realize I've put multiple people on hold--again. I've been either extrememly busy lately or in extreme pain. I went on vacation a few days before June ended, got in an accident which limited my typing, so I veered away from typing and read. Then I got my wisdom teeth pulled on the 30th, thinking since I was bed-ridden I'd be super productive! Yeah, well, as it turns out...when you get your wisdom teeth pulled it hurts, a lot. Like, I've broken by shin in half and almost seen the bone, and it's got nothing on wisdom teeth. So, I've been in pain. Then I got sick, and I was vomiting, and I can't eat anything because eveytime I did I threw it up, so that was two days. And finally, I'm battling an infection because, I don't know something happened and one of the gums got infected, but it could be worse. I could have a dry socket. But I don't! So...yeah, my sincerest apologies, and I would say this won't happen again, but that would make me a liar, because unfortunately I'm a rather busy person and this RP is not a top priority. However... It is right now, so expect quite a few posts today if nothing absolutely terrible happens. Or I have a party to go to where I get to ogle food and barbecue and not have any because screw me. But I'm not going to show it to you because that would involve me having to find said map in this folder fillled with like forty images which would take about forty seconds of my time in total. Also, maybe if the forums didn't have such a bitch upload system when it came to images, but it does, unfortunately. Gotta be so difficult forums... Also, to seem less like a dick--because believe it or not, I'm being more helpful than Seth Macfarlene akin--we don't use the map. It'd be a complete waste of time to show it to you, and it caused issues because everyone was like "is it there", "no it's over there", "really the map has it here", "uh, could we change that, I don't like that", "it looks like it was drawn by someone who has maybe two fingers". Yeah, screw you, I can't draw. No one else was going to do it. Essentially though, think a more modernized Ponyville undergoing urban sprawl thus forth making it a boomburb. Think concentric zone model as far as economics and source of revenue go. Fuck gentrification because it's a(n) dictatorship/anarchy. The residence and small family-owned businesses makes up the hinterland surrounding the centripital force that is Bangcolt motherfucking Arena. ... Lose ya? Yeah, I lost me too. I tried. Thanks AP Human. Thanks Mr. Allen. You sure didn't teach me jackshit about geography or people, but you did teach about why Bernie Sanders and Arnold Schwarzenegger are basically the same person. Basically a big ass arena in the middle of the town. It's between Ponyville and Canterlot. It's the "new capital" because it's where the economy banks on, the princesses quarters, etcetera, technicality, etcetera. Directly in front of the arena is a shopping mall and the majority of the commercial shops and such; Applejack's bar and casino, Rarity's Bangcolt Boutique, Lektra's uh...magic shop or mechanic shop...and uh, Trixie's emporium of salt, pity and, I don't know like existential self-loathing, and Twilight Sparkle voodoo dolls, and man. I don't know. Fake magic gags, I guess. Ask, Corona. Or Trixie. And uh, Pinkie owns a Pinkabetes shop which is basically sugarcube corner and also the local place for AA meetings, and it's got an alley where kids play and older kids deal drugs. To the right and left are services. Like Twerlit Spurkle's amazin' library. There's a hospital. Town Hall, I suppose. Whatever else you can think of. Your imagination is endless, if you need a shop or service for anything, make it. Behind the arena are living quarters for exclusive fighters. Princess' quarters. Training grounds. Then on the outskirts of the city are civilians and residential. Also, Ponyville had an expansion--says me--and is probably just on the south border too. Now, that I told you all that, I shall end with my starting point. It's irrelevant because very few people acknowledge these things, but hey I guess it's cool to know for reference. Also, excuse my ranting and rambling. It happens. Oh, and for a concise answer about the receptionist. Inside the foyer/lobby of the arena, which he'd enter from the front, and you can either play the receptionist, or you can have someone else play her. Up to you. Any other questions, I or some other special chilld--much like myself, because we're all special snowflakes here--will be willing to help you out. Welcome to Bangcolt biatch and enjoy your stay!
