I really love your character. She seems sweet but strong willed all the same. Her back story is short but quite touching. At first, I was going to make this more "aggressive" but your OC didn't seem like the type. Instead, this is about her longing for freedom and understanding it's price....but at the same time....she doesn't hate her father or anything....but more so pities him and is sad that her decision will forever break them apart. When reading your backstory, I tried to see from both sides....he seems strict but at the same time, simply scared and overbearing. I hope you like it and I'm sorry I took so long to get started on this. If you don't like it, PLEASE let me know and I will start over c:

 

 

Freedom isn't free; At one point it was barely available for me

Grounded by the chains of caution and driven by a wondrous dream:

A life bright with sunlight and an adrenaline rush as I take flight  

Instead, I'm here protected by a father's love and a life he must oversee

 

Freedom isn't free; My mother had to give up a family to buy hers

Leaving us alone and bewildered as she pursued whatever life she preferred 

How could she depart for a fresh start but leave us both with shattered hearts?

I learned fast to accept the truth and move on from the departure that occurred 

 

Freedom isn't free; Truth is, the price will only increase higher and higher

Through time the bond with my father dwindled because of our different desires

We didn't see eye to eye; I yearned for the skies while he feared future goodbyes 

Such an intelligent guy incapable of accepting the risks my freedom would acquire 

 

Freedom isn't free; But the time has come to pay the ultimate price 

To escape this sheltered love and go live! My grandma's place should suffice

And the price for this mission is being in a position where I'll never be forgiven 

Because my departure will lead to his shock and a heart that will break twice 

 

BUT I AM TIRED OF THIS FIGHT! With this loss, I will gain

There's a life full of "what ifs" out there that's calling my name!

Must pay this price if I am to live my own life and take it with strife

It's time to take flight and look forward with the wind in my mane

I will take advantage of this new life with it's consequences and benefits

Once I'm at this sweet cottage surrounded by beauty, I shall gain irreplaceable knowledge

There you go! Tempest sounds like an awesome royal guard...and from what I read, he seems to have been a pony with a purpose to protect those who cannot protect themselves and takes that to heart. Also, it seemed as if becoming Luna's royal guard was a VERY important life goal to him.....so this is written by another guards point of view....A recruiter and trainer to oversee the tryouts. And this recruiter simply notices great and powerful potential in your OC. Everything that's colored red basically highlights your OC c:

Real soldiers with hearts of fire and armored with both brain and brawn 

You protect without payment; there's no room for princely praise seekers

Be a storm! A raging force that our Princess of the night can depend on 

 

Face danger with a fury and serve as if you have everything to lose!

Attack the threat and bring forth all your power to keep this kingdom safe

Bravery, diligence, loyalty, strength, and intellectual skill are your tools to use 

Train hard great stallion; For I sense becoming her highness royal guard is your fate

Hello, Silver. I found this shop and I just loved your poems.   I would be so happy if you have the time to make one for me too! If you are ok, I would really appreciate a poem about my OC Missklang. About his life, how he got mad and how he is now. Like a short life story. It would be wonderful if you add dark or even scary notes in it mixing with comedy and fun.  I don't really care about the style of the poem, I trust your creativity. I just hope I don't ask too much.  And you can take all the time you want. I know it can be difficult to find inspiration to create...
