I just got button belle with my mcdonalds happy meal and I am wondering who is she.

I find it weird that merchandise is calling Suri, Button Belle.

She had a major role in an episode and doesn't even get merchandise with her real name on it.

Except worse because bonbon was sort of given her name by fans or at the very least wasn't major enough for her name to be important in an episode (bar slice of life) but Suri was called as such IN THE EPISODE. Some merch be weird.

Button belle is another name for Suri (idk why they changed her name). At mcdonalds, they have all of the mane 6 (except for applejack with is lame), button belle, coco pommel, and starlight glimmer!

Funny. I was looking at comparisons of G1 and G4 ponies because I was bored. Suri looks a lot like G1 Buttons. Maybe someone in merchandising thought so as well and just name Suri as "button belle" as a reference to that. They may have also done that before she was given a name on the show and no ones changed it on all the merchandise yet.
