If you were to marry your fav of the Mane 6 how well would you get along?

I am nothing like Twi, so we wouldn't get along very much at all. Twi is organized, responsible, positive, and smart. I'm none of the above except for being a little smart. I mean, being smart is pretty much my reputation in my family, but I could never be as smart as someone who dedicates their whole life to studying.

Well you see, I don't have a singular favourite of the Mane 6+3 it's sort of a weird tie between Fluttershy and Twilight. So if I were to go with Fluttershy then I'd think we'd get along just fine because she's very similar to my older sister, who considers me one of her best friends. If I were to go with Twilight then I'd think we'd be able to get along very well, because we both share a love for knowledge, we're both good problem solvers, some people consider me as a good leader (though I do not) and we've both had our fair share of insanity. The key difference between me and Twi is that whilst she is an ordered, meticulous, active planner I'm a disorganised, calm, relaxed, spontaneous blob of procrastination. Despite that, I'd still imagine us getting on absolutely fine, with her organising me, and me teaching the serenity of not doing anything.

I think I would get along very well with Pinkie. We both can be random and hyper at times and we would always be funny and keep the other smiling and happy.

Twilight and I are too much alike to be able to get along. Rarity may be a bit too fussy but I love her beauty and her generous, sharing, caring side to her personality. Did I mention that I'm kinda falling in love with my Rarity toy? (I comb her hair, I braid it, and always take her along with me when I go outside alone, holding her up and smiling at her, even talking to her a few times)

If I were to marry Rarity.. I'm not too sure. I mainly just sit at my computer all day plus usually my desk is kind of an unorganized mess, so she's probably get annoyed with me at a certain point, but idk.

I'd have most in common with Rarity. She's stylish and likes things a certain way and I'd tend to see things eye-to-eye with her. She's also very pretty, creative and lots of fun. Of the Mane 6, there would be no other for me.

I think Rarity and I would get along really well...for the most part. We could throw ideas back and forth and help each other on different art projects. I think we would also balance each other. She would be the more feminine of the two of us, and I could be the outdoorsy not afraid to get dirty one in the pairing

Twilight is confident and is able to get things done, while I am sorta riddled with confidence problems, so I think she would get rather annoyed with me very quickly. I wouldn't blame her. Hmm... I don't think Pinkie and I would get along too well. I like her and I think she's hilarious, but she's too emotional, energetic, and extraverted. She would probably wear me out beyond belief unless there would be some major compromising and half-way understanding involved. Not to mention all the misunderstandings that would arise due my inability to express and deal with emotions well. She certainly highlights a lot of my weaknesses, though, so maybe it would work? I mean look at her and Maud! haha

 

Speaking of Maud, perhaps I'd be better off with her, lessening the need for complex social plans and date nights, and calmly/logically resolving conflicts or misunderstandings...?

 

Or maybe Twilight so we could share in intellectual conversations and pursuits, although, I'm not very organized. 

 

But what really determines whether or not a couple will get along? I've seen married couples, some very similar to each other and others who are complete opposites, but that really has nothing to do with whether or not they get along... I think it's more dependant on the effort put forth by each person in said marriage and how tolerant you are... So I think the character is kind of irrelevant, unless you happen to really really dislike them.

I don't think it would work out between me and Dashie. I don't have any wings, so she'd make fun of me for not being able to fly.

 

I don't know how tall EG Dashie is, but if she's as tall as my fiancée, she'd probably pick on me all the time. I'm just glad my own fiancée doesn't pick on me for being smaller than her.
