Who is your favorite Pokemon gym leader?

 

I like Liza and Tate, because of the unique aspect of double battles in a gym. Reminds me of the Orre region

From an anime perspective, Brock. I liked the idea of him following ash and misty on their adventures and I liked what he brought to the group.

 

From the manga, the team rocket turncoat, Blaine. He was one of the more plot important characters as he was partially responsible for mewtwos creation.

 

As for the games, I liked Giovanni. The final gym battle had more meaning than "I need to beat you to get to the elite 4", it had more of a sense of "time to finally take this guy down." It was also cool because the gym was closed until the very end and not even the manual spoiled who was in the 8th gym.

yeah, I liked that the gym leader was part of the evil team in gen 1. They should do that again. Nice twist.

I've always been a fan of Misty, even if a lot of it is based on her personality in the anime. Besides her I would go with Iris as well as Cheren from BW2

My favorite gym leader would have to be Olympia. The design for her gym for both the game and anime were amazing and breathtaking, in my opinion. I also liked how she had a single battle with you in the game while she her gym was a double battle in the anime.

Gen 1 - Blaine. He's so awesome for a old dude.

 

Gen 2 - Ugh, hate almost everyone... I guess I kinda like Clair. Yeah, she's cool.

 

Gen 3 - Love them all! Especially Flannery. She's really adorkable.

 

Gen 4 - Crasher Wake, because he's hilarious.

 

Gen 5 - Elesa. Something about fashion ladies that can kick some butt, man... looking at you, Rarity.

 

Gen 6 - Only watched let's plays, but Viola is funny. I like her.

 

Best overall: Elesa. Except for her Emolga. Buck that thing.

I really like Sabrina, mainly 'cause she's psychic and in the anime she seemed really cool.

I also like Valerie for her design and her fairy-type pokemon, and I really love Laverre City; it's probably the most magical looking city in all of the pokemon games!

Probably Lt. Surge because he is such a pushover. XD I mean, Misty is pretty brutal for early game and I remember having tons of trouble with her back in the day but Surge? I always breezed right through his gym. Plus in the remakes, he apparently planned to zap us into paralysis. o_o
