I am currently in college, working towards my bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation ( sounds fancy, right? It only means I can draw stick figures very well). I am hoping to become a storyboard or concept artist for some animation company. It is a long shot, but that is what I wish to aspire to.

I actually do know what I want to do. I'm in school purely to become licensed as a funeral director and embalmer. I will most likely get a job at whichever mortuary accepts me as an apprentice later on in the year.

 

I am not a morbid person, I just believe I can make a difference in the lives of many people by helping them during one of the most difficult parts of life.

 

I decided to go to school for this while in highschool, and now that I have started classes pertaining to my major I am more thrilled than ever to continue. If all goes well then this enthusiasm should continue over into a career.

Some pretty good perspective, right here! Especially when I feel as though my entire life hinges on what college degree I decide to aim for, if I ever choose one. For the longest time, I've lived with the feeling that, if I don't get at least a bachelors degree, my life will be filled with doom and gloom. College ends up being the short-term remedy for this, not because I'm striving for a career I'm truly interested in, but for the sole fact that going gives me a sense of self worth. Pretty screwed up, huh?

I have alot of thoughts on this... I am going to a music school next year, after that I will study history or music. I am thinking about becoming an history and/or music teacher, archaeologist or an historian probably.

 

Or if I am very lucky I will find a good band and I will be a famous bass player xD That's the thing I wish for the most

Right now I'm leaning towards chemistry, particularly physical chemistry. I started off looking at history, then archaeology, and now it's chem. For some reason it's incredibly easy and yet very intriguing for me, and I want to take advantage of that. My dream job is to work in the lab at the Smithsonian and date fossils and restore artifacts. I'd also love to essentially be Gordon Freeman but minus the resonance cascade, etc, meaning, I want to go work for CERN or some equally cutting-edge scientific organization.
