I've mentioned this a couple of times before. But after seeing "Brotherhooves Social" I've been thinking about this for sometime and I think that they should change the name from the "Sisterhooves Social" to the "Siblinghooves" Social. That way Stallions and Colts can participate in the event and they won't have to dress in drag to participate.

 

I can also imagine having ways to adjust the event so it can accommodate for Larger Stallions such as Big Macintosh such as test of strength or something like that. They can also accommodate for ponies with 2 or more siblings such as the Apples and Pies

 

Also that way ALL the Mane 6 can participate:

 

-Twilight Sparkle teaming up with Shining Armor

-Fluttershy teaming up with Zephyr Breeze

-Pinkie Pie teaming up with Maud, Limestone, and Marble

-Applejack teaming up with Apple Bloom and Big Macintosh (not "Orchard Blossom" but as himself)

-Rainbow Dash teaming up with Scootaloo

-Rarity teaming up with Sweetie Belle

 

-For laughs they can probably have Derpy teaming up with Dr. Hooves.

 

Each of the ponies would still be competing in teams of 2 however those with more than 2 siblings can "Tag out" before certain events so that all the siblings can have equal participation. It would also make for personal interaction between 2 specific siblings such as Applejack and Apple Bloom, Applejack and Big Mac, Big Mac and Apple Bloom, Pinkie and Limestone, Pinkie and Marble, Maud and Marble, Maud and Limestone, or Limestone and Marble. 

 

However, ALL siblings will partake in the hurdle race towards the end. Hopefully for the event, Big Mac will train to actually jump hurdles. 

 

As for who wins it's fair game. Do you think they should change the name of the "Sisterhooves" to "Siblinghooves?

They're pretty lenient on who can participate. They let RD and Scoots participate together despite not being related, and I remember them saying Big Mac didn't need to dress in drag to participate, so they're obviously fine with boys participating. They just need to let it so brother pairs can participate

So all they have to do basically is just let the rest of Ponyville know that it's alright to let males participate. Probably through ads in the mail or posters or something like that.

As far as I can tell, yes. In both Sister and Broyherhooves social episodes, the organizers made it pretty plain that the "sister" part of the event is a suggestion at best.

I bet it would really fun to see a lot of these characters in this kind of setting.

The most sensitive thing to do is clearly state that let folks know they are lenient on who can participate in the posters, instead of changing the name of the event

Now that that's settled, one wonders what sort of events would suit the stallions and colts? Can one imagine Shining Armor or Zephyr in any tests of strength events?

Personally, I think they should leave the event as is. A large part of the comedic value in Brotherhooves Social came from Big Mac dressing in drag and participating in an event he wasn't supposed to participate in. That, and it is a mare and filly sporting event. However, I do think an actual Brotherhooves Social would be a neat idea, as well as an event that's open to both genders. I'm sure the Sisterhooves Social isn't the only such event in Equestria.

Brilliant idea! The Sisterhooves Social goes first, then the Brotherhooves Social the following week, and then the intergender siblings social the week after that.  

 

Now for the last one, if they couldn't accommodate for more than 2, Which sister would team with Big Mac. Applejack or Apple Bloom? One wonders which brother/sister interaction during the social would be the most interesting among the Mane 6 & brothers.
