Not too much did today, removing myself from watching videos about negative topics is in order I think, it is not because I do not care about other people, there is literally nothing I can do to stop what is going on wrong with the world. Also if I see a negative news story, I sometimes end up discussing it here, and could bring moods down of other people, I don't want that. My problems are not your own.

This freakin phasaphobia Easter event.. you see you get a trophy then you gotta update it like 4 times but you only get anywhere from like 10-30ish points ever round so it takes too long and the grinding gets old way too fast.

Not only that but they're erasing history by doing that as well, good or bad, if history is erased there is nothing to learn from.

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic got taken off Netflix some time ago, which bothered me. Because despite that shows problems, and there were many of them, it was still a beloved show by many fans who appreciate the work people put into making it. It's still a good show, it just has some weaknesses that I've recently brought to attention, like characterization of Queen Chrysalis and other villains. It's too late to fix what is wrong with that now because the show got cancelled after season 9 ended, however a reboot in the future of G4 may correct those problems.

I hate how modern shows nerf the brutality of villains because they assume their viewers cannot handle a bit of violence here and there in a story, even young viewers of cartoons. Coming from a G1 Transformers fan, I adore the 1986 movie because it got the characterization just right and made the story enjoyable to watch, and they weren't afraid to get messy when villains in the story were done playing games.

^ I don't think it has to do with 'people not respecting animation' but more to do with streaming services respecting neither creators nor fans. Considering how popular anime is in the west there is an obvious adult demographic respecting the art form enough to be marketed to.

Yeah, I'm DEFINITELY not salty because Netflix's cancellation fetish has ruined or otherwise interfered with most if not all shows I've watched despite creators and fans' best intentions and wishes. They're never seeing a penny from me hahahahahahahhh

I don't know if that applied to MLP FIM, however I would say I was not happy about the fact that villains in that show were not as edgy as they could have been. I'm not saying Equestria should be turned into a dystopian mess like the real world is, but is it really too much to ask to have villains who are actually capable of causing bad things to happen without relying on chance or an unstable alliance with another villain? Queen Chrysalis was way darker in the comics from what I researched online. Her killing a kitten in front of CMC was creepy, but that was the point, it gave viewers a reason to hate her and want her to be defeated even more, her behaviour was toxic and abusive, and that is exactly what makes a well written villain, among other things, like backstories on how they became that way, and whether or not they are redeemable in the future.

Local store didn't have any fresh potatoes today. I had to buy some in a container, I hope they're good!

Also, grocery prices have hiked up so much over the past few months, I was doing just fine before that, but now things are difficult.
