Everyone has already pointed this out, but this sounds like a complete rehash of Mare Do Well. This is both a good and a bad thing. Bad because you're basically ripping off an already poorly received episode and the last Dash episode was very problematic, but good in the sense that since the aforementioned Mare Do Well was bad, there could still be potential to write a better version of that episode.

Thinking about it... Why are there SO DAMNED MANY episodes who's synopsis basically boils down to "Rainbow dash is being a cunt, so everyone needs to screw with her and bash her down to the right level!"?!

No one ENJOYS these kinds of plots; they're meanspiritied and just piss off the fans since it tends to make everyone else jerks and tends to flanderize dashe's attributes to their worst.
I mean, No one would enjoy an episode about Rarity being a massive stuck up/vain bitch (There were alot of people upset at Spice of your life for her saying to give in to trends for example), And no one enjoys them upping dash into a massive Topcut just for a plot to work.

Mare do well was hated; they're rehashing it with this plot; and one of the big things that set off people about newbie dash was dash's attempts to get a new nicknames veering into attention whoring (With people also hating the wonderbolts for seeming douchey). I just don't understand why they keep doing these kinds of plots.

It sounds like she's going to take a step BACKWARDS in development. Surely she knows when she's gone too far by now.
