How do you imagine the ending of MLP? (Season finale, episode finale)

Well, i know that next year will be a MLP:FIM movie, and i heard somepony talking about season 6, and i heard it will be the last season... i'm not sure if this is true but if it is, how do you think it will be? How do you imagine it? (The movie too)

If the show is actually ending with the movie, my guess is that they won't do anything big for the season 6 finale. How it's gonna end, who knows.

I'd give it Season 7 is the final. I can't guess how it will end but it'll most likely end in a not so surprising way. Honestly I thought the battle Twilight had against Tirek felt like the ending to FiM. Maybe it needs a "violence-DBZish" humor with a villian to wrap it up

Kind of seems strange/bad though that if this is the FINAL season of the show, its a season that revolves around a newshot character (Starlight glimmer) instead of the other 6 for a "Wrap up season"

 

I mean, I get that the movie would wrap everything up with the other 6, but it would make this season seem like the ultimate filler season if so, since they'd jump from S1-S5 being about the mane six, and then wait till the movie to wrap that all up.

Well I remember 20 years ago when Pokemon was just considered a fad that would be over after a couple years & here it's 20 years later & Pokemon is still around with new episodes. So why can't this edition of MLP last years into future? Like Pokemon it has a strong fanbase with both kids & adults. Sure both voice actors & writers may change in future years, but as long as we as Equestrians, Bronies & Pegasisters care & support the show I see no reason for MLP to end in the next few years!! Equestria Forward!!! Into the future!!

I heard they're working on Season 7 at the moment.

 

My ideal series finale would involve every character uniting together against a cataclysm of some sort that threatens to not just destroy Equestria, but also wiping it from the timeline.  This new threat is so great, even current villains are joining forces to stop the very thing that threatens to make sure Equestria ceases to exist.

 

But this very creature cannot be defeated so easily, even with the Magic of Friendship.  Even forces from outside Equestria(Maybe from other planets like Cybertron) cannot stop what is called the destroyer of all.  It takes nearly everyone to weaken it. And in the climax of the battle, as it threatens to destroy the entire universe, Twilight Sparkle makes one last push, powered by the magic of friendship.

 

Knowing that she will perish, Twilight Sparkle names Starlight Glimmer as the new Princess of Friendship and the bearer of the Element of Magic before making the ultimate sacrifice as she seals away the catalyst for good.  In the end, her body fades away into magic as she smiles over her victory.  For Equestria, this victory came with the ultimate price, and even Princess Celestia mourns for her former student's death.
