I want to wait to see who the writer is before getting excited, but if done well it could be a good episode. Also it'd be nice to finally have an RD episode that doesn't completely shit on the character for once this season

It would be nice to have a Cutie Map episode that is actually somewhat important for once.

Plus we haven't seen any Twilight and Rainbow Dash interaction, so that will be a plus.

I don't really have much to say about this, but I am hoping for this to be a good episode.

Although I kind of wanted Lighting Dust to return in this episode, though.

Nice to see Twilight finally get an episode, even if it has to be another Cutie Map story.

Sounds good. I always like episodes with new ponies! Hope they make it well. Most episodes starting Rainbow these season, have made her look like...a jerk. She's been really annoying this season. (Why is she my favourite pony again?)

"we Wonderbolt stick together" yeah that why you were put on the sidelines during rainbow falls right? and then immediate frame Rainbow without proof. goood...job
Hazing is okay cause 'we all do it' -could have been said and done way better.- still dislike the Wonderbotls.

Twilight and Rainbow is probably my favorite Mane Six pairing, and yet it's not been used much at all, so I really hope this episode will be good. Hopefully this episode can capture some of the "Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3" mojo, since that episode featured Twilight and Rainbow and is probably one of my favorite episodes of the whole show.

I'm probably in the minority in that I actually would like RD to do that and try and become a free-lance adventurer like daring do.

She seems to symbolize all the things RD looks up to and aspires to be more than the wonderbolts. (plus, its basically what RD's doing as is with the mane six, sans the treasure finding)

Vapor trail is probably one of the more unfortunate names you could have.

It makes me think of being named skidmark or something.

I like Rainbow Dash and hope this is good, and if it actually connects to Dash's new Wonderbolt status, it could be one of the more worthwhile episodes of this type. Goddamn, though, that sounds a lot like a map episode, and even though I like each of these more than the previous, I don't think I'll ever be comfortable with it as a plot device, and this also sounds like brand new characters stealing the spotlight, which after enduring season 5 is the last thing I want from this show.

 

I really hope it's solid. RD could use a solid episode, and I want the show to sell me on the Twilight/Dash dynamic. But the map... the map needs to go.

WHATS THIS!?!? AN EPISODE WITH MY 2 FAVS SHARING THE SPOTLIGHT!?! ALL ABORD THE HYPE TRAIN      :-P  !

 

These 2 haven't shared an episode together like this since S4's Testing Testing 1,2,3 back in 2014 (1 of my all time favorite episodes in the entire series ). If you couldn't tell by now, The Twilight/Dash duo is my favorite pairing of the mane 6. They just compliment each other so well. The synopsis definitely has me intrigued. Can't wait for this 1 to air!

After reading the synopsis, this episode sounds pretty interesting. It's cool we get to see Twilight and Rainbow working together. It's also interesting that the cutie map would send them to the Wonderbolt Academy. It's nice that we are getting two new characters who might be on the Wonderbolt team in the future. I also think it's neat that Rainbow can help out the two ponies since she's a part of the Wonderbolts team as well. All in all this episode sounds great and I look forward to seeing it.

Looking forward to this, but sadly had it spoiled by that book about the friendship problems they already released :/

 

 

Vapor trail APPEARS to suck at flying and Sky stinger looks to be super awesome, only for it to turn out that Vapor trail is holding back to try and avoid showing up her friend, and sky stinger sucks without Vapor trail shoring him up.
So vapor trail learns to be assertive and not worry about showing off, and Sky stinger learns to Train hard to be actually good as a flyer.

Wait, Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts in the same episode possibly with Rainbow being put into a positive light? Give this to me nooooooooooooooooow. After Newbie Dash, I will take what I can get.

 

Interesting combo with RD and Twilight too, so that will be neat to see. I like this idea for the episode, just please make Rainbow look competent for once.

It was a really fun episode. Those who are worried Rainbow Dash might get characterized poorly can relax. Her and Twilight make for a great team and it feels very much like one of my favorite episodes of the series - "Testing, Testing, 123," though without the deep feels.

 

Dash is still a braggart at times, but that's just Dash being Dash. Twilight gets to geek out again, which was great to see.

 

The new characters were interesting and there's definitely a shipping vibe there. Stinger rubbed me the wrong way at first but redeemed himself by the end.

 

It's one of the better episodes of the season.
