I love puppies and ponies, and this is coming from a veteran, it's a good feeling to not have aggression all the time, it's stressful, I am grateful for the ponies who gave me empathy again, for it was their cuteness that gave me happiness again, it's more than their appearance, but their attitude and speech that is cute too, there are worse obsessions out there; this is not one of them. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah, ponies have helped me out in this regard. I've been living in an environment that only gave me anger, hate, and even desiring agony to my aggressive neighbors, and as much as that might help in cope with it and avoid suicide (yes, I'm thinking I haven't killed myself it's because of my intense hatred). But damn, it's exhausting to think all those negative emotions all the time. I liked some cute things before MLP, though I still care about the action, plot, etc. Put it this way, if you knew me, you REALLY wouldn't think I'm a brony, but the point is cuteness is a good thing, and every time I see pictures like that it makes my heart melt. That's why we find big heads and eyes cute, because typically babies have these same features. Cuteness is the biggest weakness I have in this world, although my cynical and pragmatic nature can occasionally defeat it. Case in point, young animals like piglets, calves, and lambs are all really cute...but they taste great so I have zero problems eating them. Beyond that, though, cuteness will defeat me every time. If I had unlimited money I'd probably use it to buy an unlimited amount of plushies. I also have the great fortune of having an incredibly cute (and evil) girlfriend, so I'm surrounded by cuteness on a daily basis.
