Can someone be kind enough to explain what the hay is a "bro code"? :/

(edited)

I use bro/sis as a term for a close friend I talk to all the time online, and so does a huge chunk of the internet. But I don't use it in person, no.

I've only been called Broseph by my younger sisters' crazy friends (my name is Joseph, go figure how they came up with that one...).

I will only ever use 'bro' as a term of endearment, towards my older brother, while posting online. We only ever call eachother 'bro' if we're joking around, but by that point, we're already laughing.

Guess I'm still young in my broventuring days, learning the loops and hoops, and their brotacular ways.

I've never used this terminology and refuse to, To be quite frank, I've always thought going around calling everybody bro or dude makes one appear unintelligent. Sorry.

It seems like the usage of 'bro' in everyone's everyday conversations has been established, so what bro topic should we discuss next? Bromance, maybe? ;)

Your MGS reference is a win!

That's SO EPIC!

My brother perfected it by using the exclamation "LIQUID" as just cause for a toast, and usually holds up a drink.

A lot of unintelligent people actually use the word "bro" a lot. I think most people in the thread use it mockingly. For example, my friend and I call each other things like dudemanbro when making fun of jocks.
