The Wonderbolts could always create a sub-division within the group dedicated to Earth ponies to fix that problem.

They wouldn't be able to, so they'd eventually have to give up on their dream to be a Wonderbolt. Sad, but that's the truth. It's like an earth pony or pegasus wanting to go to a school of magic for unicorns like the one Twilight went to - it's impossible.
