There was one in one of the Assassin's Creed games, either 2 or brotherhood where there's a pool of water and if you stand next to it for long enough a giant squid comes up for a few seconds.

 

There's loads of good ones in the Halo games. My favourite is probably in Reach where you have to press a hidden button and it turns one of the rooms into a covenant night club.

on thunder mountain in TF2 on the farthest non background mountain there is sniper, his van and a small bon fire, also in spectator below reds spawn there is a pool with the whole red team swimming, i believe its gone now.

The best part about that one is that it was added in the middle of a lawsuit between the two companies.

 

One of my favorite easter eggs is in any game is in Alice: Madness Returns. In a certain area you can find a very peculiar skeleton.

This funny little guy, munna, was a little seed of an idea before it was even created.

 

In pokemon generations I and III, a picnicker talks about how she wishes there was a pink pokemon adorned with floral patterns. Ta da!

 

Also, an employee at the Devon Corporation says he wants to create a machine that can visually reproduce the dreams of pokemon. "Dream mist" is something this pokemon can create and when yielded properly, can produce the very same effect!

Well in Banjo Kazooie, there is a buncha easter eggs of Rare ware games including Donkey Kong, Conker's bad fur day, Perfect dark, and others. Like you will see them everywhere. And in Banjo Kazooie, his little sister gets captured and then you save her and some reason she just never appears again, like in Banjo Tooie, well in Banjo tooie, one level with a giant trash can will have a hug carton of milk in it and on the back will say "Missing Tooty, last seen Banjo Kazooie" I was all like "WOAAAAAH!!" And in paper mario series, like TTYD and super paper mario, there will be pictures in different places of the past characters and partners

I know about the photo booth in BF3 where you can take "Snap shots" of yourself. And in BO the zombie Easter eggs were enormous, often got too bored to finish. One of the best ones I know of is in Red Faction: Armageddon, where if you beat at a random wall it opens up and leads you to Mr. Toots. Rather amusing IMO.

The only ones I know of are the ones in Borderlands 2. (mainly the Minecraft one and "Rakkman") I don't usually look for easter eggs when playing through games.
