Season 7 Villains

I'm actually worried that the season 7 opener will be more like season 6's opener.

I hope she doesn't appear in season 7, but in 8.

Honestly, I want Grogar from G1. It would be really awesome to see him.

 

A lot of people would love to see Grogar be retooled for the current generation, myself included, because he would have a similar mannerism to Tirek but with different goals in mind.

 

 

Damnit. That plotline just rubs me the wrong way due to how Much wasted potential it used up, and how we will probably NEVER get a proper "Evil mane six" plotline due to it, since its already been done

 

That's the reason why I chose not to invest in that particular story arc. From what I read of the preview of the first part, I could tell that it wasn't going to be a good experience and it turned out to be true given how everything was resolved.

Although realistically Queen Chrysalis will likely be the main antagonist of Season 7, it would be so great if they returned Tirek for round 2. Tirek is arguably the show's darkest and most villainous antagonist, betraying Discord ( who is a fantastic villain is his own right ), destroying the library ( the main location and the home of the protagonist for the first 4 seasons ) and being the main participant of the single most spectacular scene in the entire franchise. It would be amazing to see him make a return and wreak havoc in another episode with high stakes. C'mon, return Tirek to the show and make little old me happy......

I do like the idea of  another G1 villain being revamped for the show. Tirek was fantastic the way he was put across in the show, but there are others who could be used. Grogar has already been mentioned, but there's also these:

I hope Chrysalis isn't the villain, because to me that would mean there probably won't be a season 8, plus that would obviously be overuse of her character. There's a good chance it'll be Tirek, because other than Sombra who was dealt with in the comics, Tirek is the only other one who hasn't been wrapped up. Either that or a new villain, which may very well deserve a thread on its own.

Grogar is the boss. He doesn't want to take over and rule Equestria, he wants to destroy it and kill all the ponies. I would squee like a crazy fangirl if Grogar was resurrected; he'd be perfect for a two parter season starter or finale.

I did some research this week and came across the words, "Problem Profiteer". They're the kind of people that make a living by keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of a group before the public.

 

So it would be something if a group of ponies were doing work similar to the Mane 6 but they make a living off it and have been known to set in motion problems when work is dry.

 

There can be an episode where the Problem Profiteers get a win over the Mane 6 solving a problem and lose in a later episode.

I'm sorry, but I have to ask why you think this? I don't see any reason why chrysalis being used would indicate an end to the series :/

I HOPE she's not the villain for S7 (And strongly disbelieve it, due to the Comics having a tie in to S7 and there being NOTHING indicating anything about changelings in them so far that I can see), but I don't think it would spell the end of the series: She's not really that important except as starlight's Sworn enemy now.
