Well I think the army is something like a couple of hundred changelings in size. Anyways it's mostly a ground battle and I'm sort of familiar with your character as someone else in the RP already is playing as s character that's a similar race to yours!

 don't forget that my character has already captured several of the evil changelings in the hopes of reforming them!

I'm sure they'll see it soon enough. Honestly you could end the entire conflict of the plot right now if they are as powerful as these things are made out to be. There is literally no reason not to just go and sweep up every changeling right now at the source since we can just incapacitate the lot of them. I know Sombra's involved too, but I'm not seeing any reason why NOT to just take the changeling threat off the map within a few posts. That's how op these capes are right now.

Yeah but still there is a really easy fix to that! Simply make it so the changelings snap out of the mesmerisation the moment they stop seeing the capes! Or maybe they learn how to overcome the mesmerising effects from them!

Yeah, the capes are only as OP as you write them to be. Techno the member gives the freedom to choose whether to play the battle the hard way or the easy way. Am I right, @Techno Universal?

Maybe the mesmerizing only works on peon/untrained changelings, while more experienced fighters can shrug it off. That way we aren't shutting down Chrysalis and her guard in a couple posts. That's a good nerf that doesn't retcon anything.

That is a good idea. Chrysalis is gonna work on negating it completely though.

Wow, I take a day off the internet and miss a bunch, lol.  Went to see the MLP Movie yesterday (2nd time seeing it!), then had bunch of housework.  Let me get caught up, then will start posting!

Oh, and I did have an idea on how to counter the capes.  I spoke privately with Techno a little ways back on what kinda powers Ennex might have, and I had an idea on his next move yesterday.  Techno, once I post, let me know what you think.  I assume that Ennex, with his newfound control of the system, can make himself immune to the capes' effects?

Well the root to causing everyone to be mesmerised by the sight of the capes flowing in the wind is actually a core component of thi personality and instinctual behaviour structure. But the mesmerisation effect can be bypassed or enabled with higher sensitivity so they will get mesmerised by their own capes even! So maybe Ennex tries to mess around with the instinct and he spawns massive capes on himself, Ravage and maybe even Chrysalas and her army!

perhaps... but instead of also spawning capes, i was hoping for some sort of immunity.  Or like, with the mind tricks from star wars, it wouldn't work on strong-minded, like Ennex and possible Ravage.  But the main reason I asked is if Ennex can simply block it from just himself.  I kinda have an Agent Smith-like idea, but it would only work if he can make just himself immune...
