What if Honest Apple came before The Mane Attraction?

The theme is Applejack doesn't like the way things are, so she becomes a driving force to change things her way and disregards the work the others put into it.

In The Mane Attraction, it has a positive outcome in the sense that they were able to work it out to avoid it backfiring. Honest Apple ends up Applejack realizing she can't steamroll everyone else work, because she doesn't like it.

If Honest Apple came before The Mane Attraction the outcome may be different.

I am not really a fan of this idea.

The Mane Attraction is a great episode and doesn't deserve to be associated with Honest Apple.

I agree that Honest Apple should have come sooner. Honest Apple always felt like a moral premise that should have happened back in season one instead of season seven. It just feels too far into the show for this to be an issue for Applejack now. I'm able to overlook it since Rarity's episode premise, her giving a chance to newer designers is a good idea, but the episode still feels overdue.

With that said, I'm not sure how the lesson of Honest Apple would affect The Mane Attraction.

AJ wouldn't be jumping in head first on her dislike of pizazz trying to change Coloratura. It would require a different approach.

I with cmarston1 here. Honest Apple being to weakest episode of season 7 and The Mane Attraction being one of the best of season 5.

Maybe then she wouldn't have been so judgmental over a career which Coloratura is clearly comfortable with.
