I think Movie Magic is the one I've liked the most. Mirror Magic was the one I was looking forward the most, and while Sunny + Starlight was the best shit these shorts have, it also suffers for having the worst the shorts had to offer: Juniper's time as a villain. Hell, I had to buy the novel because it apparently expands over that arc and somewhat saves it, because the short didn't do any justice

Dance Magic was my personal favorite. This part touched upon the Mane 7 growing a friendship with their rivals. I felt like this part had a deeper meaning than the other two, which focused on a new character that I, personally, didn't like. :derp:

I enjoyed Mirror Magic the most because of Sunset and Starlight interacting with each other and finding common ground. Plus, we got to see Sunset as a pony again for the first time in several years.

All three felt hollow to me, but "Movie Magic" is the only one I found consistently entertaining. It's the one which most resembles what I'd want an Equestria Girls show to look like, though none of the three really feel like the main show all that much.

Even though it is the least popular of the 3, I have to say that Mirror Magic was my favorite.

I really enjoyed the interactions between Sunset and Starlight and the whole dealing with magic part helped make the special interesting.

I definitely had the most fun watching it out of all the specials.

I think Dance Magic was the best overall, as to me it basically told me just how well an EqG series could work. Plus, it's such a breath of fresh air that there's no straight-forward antagonist this time around.

However, Mirror Magic was probably the most entertaining, even though it did have some flaws and personal nitpicks. EqG Starlight's design alone was enough to make it worthwhile.

If I don't understand something or Interpret it wrong, I'm dutch. Sometimes I gamble for meanings of the words. And sometimes I write the wrong words, like week and weak for example. Sorry for it already. :smug:

Discord, Twilight, Sunset, Fluttershy, Starlight, Rarity, Luna, Celestia, Big MCintosh, Cadence, Shining, Minuette, Lyra, Rara, Sweetie Belle, Cheerilee, Derpy, Spike.

"Mirror Magic" was my favorite, followed closely by "Dance Magic". While I found "Movie Magic" the weakest of the three, I still enjoyed it. I liked how "Mirror Magic" brought back the link between Equestria and the human world, which hadn't been explored in the last few films. Seeing Sunset Shimmer in the pony world again (even just for a brief moment) was great. I liked Starlight's human form too, she has one of my favorite character designs in Equestria Girls.

All three specials were good, and I actually enjoyed them more than the earlier Equestria Girls films. Somehow, the universe works better in the 22-minute format than in a longer film. Maybe a song or two wouldn't have done any harm, but I thought the specials were well done – the pacing was good and there was no filler.

It's a tough call between Movie Magic and Mirror Magic. I think that they are both really enjoyable and above-average episodes which showcase some of the best that this show has to offer. They were clever, witty, had interesting and engrossing stories that really made for two great watches. If, I had to choose, I think that I'd give the edge to Movie Magic, as it can stand on it's own better, has less questionable moments overall, and hey, I'm a sucker for a mystery, even if it is abundantly obvious.

As for Dance Magic, I thought that it was merely good. Don't get me wrong, that still means that I liked it but it doesn't come that close to being as high quality as the other two episodes, at least in my opinion.
