general Can you speak/understand/spell another language besides English?

Oh I wish!  Both my brothers are bilingual, but I'm still just an English speaker. Honestly, I'd probably have to move to a non-English country to get myself to learn a second language.

I've been self teaching simplified Chinese for awhile. I want to do it via immersion school but there isnt one in 100 miles

Aside from that, I have some comprehension of German and Russian, a learner's understanding Japanese, a pretty good knowledge of French and English to a native level.
