What do you think are the best video game start up screens?

 

This start up screen is the reason why I still own my PlayStation

Yknow, I just really love the startup screen for any of the valve games because they just ducking hurt your ears and leave you bleeding but like in a good way...

I liked the Start Screen of my Playstation 2, because apparently, you get more Block Towers, the more Games you play and the longer you play one Game, the bigger one of the Towers get. It was actually really cool, to see something change, according to your own Actions.

I really like the "SEGA" when you play a genisis game.

My vote is for the PS1. It's quite basic compared to the others, but that's all that it needs to be. It's simple, in-your-face and obnoxiously loud. It's the star of the show and you better pay full attention to it.

I never owned one but the GameCube takes the win by far. It has everything from clever use of 3D and animation tricks, and sounds.

I consider the PS2's startup sound to be the best, mostly because it holds so much nostalgia for me. I used to play it very often in my childhood and teen years.
