general Hey, remember Thanksgiving?

hey remember that i exist outside the rp forums

 

So what's the deal with everybody going all gung-ho about Christmas less than a week after Halloween? There's a November for a reason, after all--

 

So, you can't have two big-huge holidays right next to each other (unless you're American because you have Thanksgiving right after Halloween and then Christmas hits and then you have no money for food), there needs to be a break, in my opinion. This is going to be pretty opinion-based, anyways.

 

So (third time starting a paragraph with 'so'!) what do you think? Should we be preparing for Christmas already or should we either be preparing for thanksgiving/taking a break?

I actually said to myself, "Good for them actually WAITING for Thanksgiving to pass before doing Christmas"

I think there's a lot less preparing to do for Thanksgiving than there is for Christmas or Halloween. Not as big of a decoration holiday. I do always wait until Thanksgiving Day to get out the Christmas music, though.

For me, my Birthday is the day before Thanksgiving so I'm excited for it!

Uh actually, in Hungary we don't celebrate both Halloween and Thanksgiving, so the only option is Chistmas XD

I feel that we rush Christmas too much. I feel like we shouldn't start worrying about christmas until after we get through the Thanksgiving holiday.
