Blueblood wasn't even really an "antagonist" in the traditional sense - he just turned out to not be what Rarity was hoping for. There's also the matter that when Rarity was fantasizing about Blueblood, it was strongly suggested that she was more interested in social status than an actual relationship. So it could reasonably be interpreted that she kind of deserved what she got there.
