Idk I;ve spent a lot of my life without speaking to females (apart from like my family), so I think I can do that my whole life

And lol I think I can live my whole life as a virgin. It;s not too big of a deal now since I'm still a child and it won;t be too big of a deal to me in the future either,

I have never been a fan of G3. The design is not good. Same goes for the toys.

If it were a paradise, I wouldn't want to live in it!

Yup lol. Society is way too fixed on this whole having to have sex thing and stuff. People can be perfectly happy without it. 

Heh the fact that 12/13 year olds fantasise about having sex is not only messed-up, it;s a sign of how messed up society has gotten. 

Even relationships at that age seems like too much xD

The light cannot exist without the darkness and vice versa, thus to me it's more of a purgatory than an actual paradise. What makes the world of G4 so beautiful and interesting is the good and the bad that exists in that world, and thus, the Mane 6 and their friends must face the challenges in life to create a more harmonious world which what we see at the end of Season 9. There always going to be problems, but at least they can be solved without a major conflict going on and so forth.

Indeed. Children shouldn't act and think like adults since they're far from ready to consent to deal with the harsh realities of our world since their bodies and minds are still developing from it's infancy.

It is an amazing land. I grew up with G3 and l like the ponies and their colors. So many different background ponies unlike G4. Only problem is that l would like less pink in the world.

There is darkness in G3. There are natrual dangers and such but the darkness there aren't total eclipses but more like passing clouds (and some have lighting given how they have nearly died a few times). So while it has it's moments, it can still shine pretty brightly.

I'd be alright living in G3 world. IIRC the segregation is mostly due to geographics and not any actual prejudice, once the races became aware each other existed they got along fine. There are rural woody areas so spending time alone wouldn't be an issue, and the ponies seem pretty understanding of that. The only thing is that I don't remember there being any other animals, really, which is important to me. But there are insects so I don't think it's totally out of the question.

I agree with the OP. It is Paradise and paradise — a garden for the ponies to play in for eternity.

Eh. I mean... I like G3, it's a cosy little nook, but what do those horses even do other than tea parties and birthday parties? Must get awfully boring after a while. Not to mention the lack of any, shall we say, more adult-oriented activities and entertainment. I love my vices...

I agree.

I enjoy the same head cannon that the G3 world is huge and uninhibited, with the ponies living in tiny innocent communities. Rather like in this story.

Wow now after reading through all this I wonder if I still should watch G3, because it's apparently the complete opposite of G1? There you had adventures, characters oftenly going through troubles, danger, conflicts, sometimes desamorny, and menacing villains showing up all the time (okay, a lot of them aren't menacing at all, but still), it was even a bit dark sometimes. So none of these happen in G3 at all ?

There are some mini adventures, like in Minty Christmas and Runaway Rainbow, and G3 has the same VAs  and some of the same feel as G4. But if you are more interested in the multi-series G1 adventures, or the two-parter adventures in G4, then G3 might not be for you. I still recommend it, though.

Thanks but I think I expressed myself wrong about it, sorry, what I actually mean is that I want a show that is fun to watch when it comes to Adventures, but it's also fun when it's a Slice of Life, yes, I love Adventures, but I'm not exactly saying I just want to see that and nothing more, I like Slice of Life too and G4 had lots of that. My problem is, the current MLP show, Tell Your Tale, I've been watching it, sometimes it tries to show Adventures, and other times, Slice of Life, in a short format.

But I just don't like the way the show does it, I'm not saying it's bad or anything, I just think it's not fun, when it's a adventure, they go to a place, have a compilation of fun moments there, discover a problem, solve it in 10 seconds and then return home, I just don't think that is any interesting. And when it's slice of life, it's a bunch of cute moments compiled with a character learning something in the end, and for me that is just not fun. I pretty much think that a lot of nothing happens in TyT, I don't think the characters have a goal, I don't think the stories it tells are any exciting or interesting, they are too short and bland, I don't see anything that pushes them to their limits, there is no conflict or anything, nothing happens, everything is perfect and all that happens in a episode is a character getting sad and the others making them happy again, I just think that is boring, I don't sse any consequentes, I feel no impact.

It's the opposite of G4 and even Make Your Mark to me, FiM had countless slice of life episodes, still, these episodes were exciting for me to watch, they were interesting, they were much more than just cute moments and the characters trying to make the others happy, there were fantastic situations, the characters always go through situations that push them to their limits or put them in dainger, they need to face somthing that will change them completely, make them feel angry, hopeless, crazy, confused, etc, sometimes they even caused trouble for the others, like Applejack almost causing Ponyville to collapse by refusing to rest for work, it was nothing complex, the stories were simple, but also bond, impactful,  there was something going on, there were consequences. My favorite episode is a slice of life episode (Sisterhooves Social), and a lot of things happen in that episode, there are plot twists, etc, it was fun and exciting, it was interesting, and there were a lots of non-two parter episodes about adventures or world buildings, for me they were very fun as well. And even though Make Your Mark is not as good as FiM, I think it tried its best to do the same, and for me it worked.

But I just don't see the same in TyT, for me the show is just cute and nothing more, I don't see any story being told, I don't think it's fun, it's just convincing me more and more that it's not a show for me, I don't see the fun in a paradise where nothing happens, where everything is perfect and when there's a "problem" happening, it's actually just a character getting sad because of something like his friend not enjoying him, something, I don't see any real problems happening to justify the plot for a episode like how it was in G4 and in the 3D show, that's why I said this:

I understand. After what you wrote, I think that you might like G3 more than TYT, but probably not G3.5. So, the earlier animated episodes, which are longer, and have a bit more conflict and development. TYT is very short and silly (which can be OK, sometimes, but is not everyone's bag).

Thanks again, then I might check out G3, and maybe G3.5 too, for me it's actually not hard to go through TyT because I need to wait for 2 weeks for a episode, so I don't really mind reserving only 10 minutes per month to watch it, it's problematic when I need to watch a lot of episodes non-stop in a few days though, it's a show that I don't hate but I also don't like it, so it can get truly tiresome having to watch multiple episodes one after the other, it's whay happened with the first 50 episodes from Season 1, and it wasn't a very good experience for me, so I'll be cautious this time. I'll see if I try at least 5 episodes of these generations, thanks again
