Spike/Smolder

It is early, but so far this seems like the most plausible ship for Spike. Obviously, he's still too young to start dating, but having a relationship is not bad. Smolder from her interactions with Spike to me is pretty much what we wanted his interaction s to be in Dragon Quest,

Unlike the bullies and warrior like dragons Spike has meet(Ember being the exception)

Smolder is very helpful to Spike. She gives him great into and has taught him more about his culture

Unlike Garble and his crew Smolder isn't a creep, she playfully teases him but its never mean spirited.

If she ever does make Spike worried, its unintentionally, she thinks he should be happy and proud he's growing up.

Ultimately, Spike and Smolder might be a great couple...as long as

Considering Smolder seems like she's indifferent (at best) to the mere concept of friendship, a romantic relationship definitely seems like a no go.

I think Smolder might be Spike's long-lost sister! Just look at them! They look so similar in ways, and they act similar too!

Personally, I think she looks like a Dragon version of Wendy O. Koopa.

I think Spolder is a good ship between the two. He can teach her about friendship and she can teach him how to be a dragon. Plus, she secretly likes things ponies like.
