spoiler Theory on Season 8's finale

I've read all the episode summaries and after watching a few episodes(including the leaks)

Spoiler

School Raze deals with Neighsay's final assault against Twilight 's school. 

-He used Tierk as a pawn in order to force Twilight to go to Tartarus.

-Reveals himself and traps them in Tartarus.

-His agent, Cozy Glow prepares to allow an EEA invasion of the school.

-Cozy Glow is the chancellor's daughter which influenced her bigoted views.

-Back in Tartarus, Tierk actually begins to reform as he sees Twilight and the others now know what it's like to be betrayed by their own people.

-The Young Six and the CMC lead a defence against the EEA's racist private pony army.

-In the end Cozy Glow betrays the EEA, Tierk helps the eight escape and capture Neighsay. Celestia strips him of his position, and he takes Tierk's place in Tartarus. Cherlie becomes the new chancellor and ends the xenophobic policies of the EEA, as well as allows all ponies Earth, Pegasi, Unicorn and Kirin to be whatever they aim to be.

I don't think Tirek should be reformed. And even if they were going down that route, he would have to do much more than help Twilight and her friends escape from Tartarus in order to earn it.

Also, I find it a bit silly that you say that "it's time we had a pony, stay bad" yet suggest that the writers reform Tirek.

Agreed.

To often in this show have we seen villains abruptly and anti-climatically reformed. There are indeed some villains who I think may be the redeemable types, Chrysalis may turn for example, but Tirek has shown himself to be a true antagonist, and I think that if he reformed it would just feel out of his character.

I say "METEORS to your Legacy Mythos!" I'd rather Scorpan be named KING of Tirek's lands, due to Tirek being in Tartarus for so long, and it lead to the Mane Six to help Tirek win the favor of the locals, and to reconcile with Scorpan.
