Would your favorite ponies love you back?

So i was heading to bed and I had my Rainbow Dash plush on my bed, and I'm just adoring her like usual. But sometimes I have to wonder in a hypothetical sense, because they're individual characters with their own personalities, and as such, would your favorite character(s) return the favor? I honestly don't know. People have drawn some of their favorite characters desiring their own ponysona OC, but I have to wonder if that would happen, cause they wouldn't just automatically do that.

If you told somepony your adoration for them, from their perspective, they're seeing somepony they've never met appear out of nowhere and express in detail how much they love them... which wouldn't be a good idea. And that doesn't even take into account anyone's attraction to them, or... worse.They're bound to back away slowly and get creeped out. It's like, how do you do that the right way? There might not be a right answer.

Example of a pretty bad case of affection giving, and one you would want to avoid for sure.

I personally, in this hypothetical, would feel awful saying the wrong thing or doing the wrong thing. You would think like anyone(or anypony) you would have to build with her.

Pointless to wonder about, but I guess that comes as a consequence of seeing any of these characters as an individual with a personality. What do you say?

This is the ultimate conundrum for the concept of waifus, husbando's, etc.  The characters may have personality traits that you might think would work rather well with your own, it is impossible to tell how they would actually react.  Often times that have their own relationships with other characters that make getting with your own start to break up something else that is part of who they are.  Because you can't interact with the pony you like, an actual bond can't form.  Usually having to alter characters to fit around your own, also breaking down some of that personality.

Likely if you just walked up to your favorite pony and just expressed your feelings, yes they would most likely run away screaming or at least shoot you down pretty hard.  Love is a lot more organic than that, which would require extended interactions with your favorite pony to see where it goes.

It also doesn't help that the show does a good job of leaving out romance as a driving factor in the show, minus what we see between Princess Cadance and Shinning Armor.  Leading to an issue of not knowing what type of romantic personalities each pony has.  With the heavy focus in Friendship, everypony would most likely end up in the friend zone, as is the design of the show.

Do I think any of my favorite ponies from the show would love me, or at least my ponysona?  Most likely not.  Overall I think there is a better chance of finding a special somepony in another's OC/ponysona, because at least from there, it ends up a lot more organic.

Starlight actually is a firm believer in second chances, and Twilight is a very reasonable diplomat trying to uphold a fairy tale world (ideologically) the twist is things really happen in FIM, there are real defining moments, obstacles, and villains and anti heroes with their own counter redeeming qualities..., but honestly they would be like stars to their own demographic, I honestly think they all take on a very modest role being who they are which is most admirable of all, with the exception of Dash who ultimately is best pony, but I think rehashing flaws is a dead horse.. or pony rather lol, but I think if we could have continued to show imperfections there would have been a lot more time to write plotlines with our favorite characters, now basically we have this new group at the school who will commonly misbehave and have the same character flaws the mane six used to have once upon a time, reusing the same messages and metaphors in literal new skins, BUT, I LOVE the characters and I look forward to it, especially having another dragon

I don't harbor romantic feelings or anything like that for the characters of mlp, but I imagine they'd be open to conversation. Dash would be cool to hang out with but I'd be a bummer as somepony to fly with at the moment. I've been so physically inactive that I've had parts of me popping. I'm icing my wrist after I moved a stack of chairs earlier. I can still move and lift heavy things around but it seems to result in injury. If I was really a Pegasus, I'd be out of breath after a few minutes of flying. Dash doesn't want to hang with a pony that can't keep up.

I initially instinctively ignored this thread, as I don't usually answer those, but my second thoughts made me laugh.

Basically, the answer that formulated in my mind went something like this:

"Hmm... Rarity, Fleur, Sassy... ....ahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAH NO WAY IN THE WORLD!" - that's the end of this short story.

I'm not sure if best pony Rainbow Dash (Who also so happens to be my waifu) would love me back. It's mostly just a problem of not actually being able to interact with the characters......... because they're not real (God do I hate that, I wish they were real). Because I'm not able to hang out with Dash, I don't know if she would like me not only as a friend, but as something a bit more than just a friend. What I think is more than likely to happen is Dash would accept me as a friend, simply because that's Equestrian pony nature- to create new friendships with others, however I'm unsure if she would take our relationship any farther than that, sadly, I'll never know

I think I would have a good repor with some of my favs, but I'm not the most outgoing person (pony in this case?) so it might be tough for me to open... but I like quite a few of them.

As for the thread, I guess I'm talking both in either a romantic or non-romantic context. I adore RD and AJ loads, but not automatically in the idea of a serious relationship. Maybe it would be feasible that I would get along super well though.

Well I do think I might be able to befriend Trixie (Oh Great and Powerful waifu) but I have my doubts that she would return my emotions beyond that. I mean maybe with enough ego stroking and my own ego to match, and enough persistence and work than perhaps, just maybe she might. Tis only a dream, and sadly i can only interract with her in my dreams and my fanfictions...
