flutterbard 55 June 7, 2018 Share June 7, 2018 How was your high school graduation party? Did you enjoy it? Did your parents take it over or did you get full say in what happened? When I was forced to write a creative nonfiction essay for my creative writing class in college, I wrote about how awful my graduation party was. https://docs.google.com/document/d/10Pq6BO-gUjlff0hH97P7WDaiD00dHV-FVWPVoEWzgyw/edit?usp=sharing 1 Click the egg to help it hatch
ElectricityBill 121 June 7, 2018 Share June 7, 2018 I've enjoyed it :p It was kinda sad to realise that i'd never see the vast majority of my classmates but I was excited because I knew that the new chapter in my life have just started.
MangoFoalix 24,961 June 7, 2018 Share June 7, 2018 I graduated back in 2016, so... If I remember correctly, my entire immediate family went out to a Japanese Hibachi place for dinner at one point. Other than that, it wasn't that much of a big deal. Never really made any good friends in High School so I didn't really care about throwing some huge party.

SparklingSquirrels 21,345 June 7, 2018 Share June 7, 2018 I graduated this year but I'm not having a party. I would have to plan the whole thing myself and eh I'm just too lazy, plus I don't really like parties to begin with . Plus I have enough parties for other people to go to. I don't know everyone super well but there's free food at least 2 ֍֎֍֎
Flow 1,629 June 7, 2018 Share June 7, 2018 My highschool one was just a private family eat out, but my college graduation party was with several friends. It was a blast, also the first time I've eaten a piece of cookie cake. OCs: Flow / Love Bloom
Lord Midnight Madness 1,543 June 7, 2018 Share June 7, 2018 My graduation party consisted of my family having a BBQ. Then that night I went to a big party that one of my friends put on it was fun. By @Fangirl Mode
Artimis Whooves 1,576 June 7, 2018 Share June 7, 2018 I graduated about two weeks ago, didn't have a party. I don't really have any friends irl [maybe like, 2 or 3] so my mom said she'd take me to bronycon as a graduation present if I didn't want a party. 1 Avatar by me, I'm finally okay at drawing x3 If you like helping peeps, you should check out GoG! Twiggy 2,966 June 7, 2018 Share June 7, 2018 I didn't really attend a party, but I did go to the Senior Night at Disneyland after graduation where me and a bunch of my friends got super cross faded. It was kinda like a party. We had fun. My Ask Thread
Kevin Tang 2,426 June 7, 2018 Share June 7, 2018 My secondary school graduation party was great. Me and my classmates plus my teacher took a vacation together for 4 days. And after that, we got an award for being the school with the highest average score in the state. What a great way to end secondary school. I'd say I was pretty happy at that time, so did my parents. Stone Cold Steve Jobs 22,441 June 8, 2018 Share June 8, 2018 I didn't have one. We went out to a steak house and that's about it. My buddy had a graduation party i went to and that was okay. And that’s the bottom line, ‘cause Stone Cold said so!

Dreambiscuit 9,901 January 22, 2021 Share January 22, 2021 The only graduation party was for my eighth grade graduation because I dropped out after that and never looked back. And I didn't attend the party. Instead I got my silly diploma thingie and bolted for the car with my family, trying not to be seen by anyone I knew. That was far better than any party, at least for me.

King of Canterlot 9,603 January 23, 2021 Share January 23, 2021 My mom gave me the option of having either a graduation party (which I didn't really want anyways) or a graduation trip to anywhere I wanted. Obviously, I took the latter option and we ended up going to Trotcon out in Columbus, Ohio! Trotcon 2019 was the first MLP convention I had ever been too, and it was quite an amazing experience Hopefully conventions can come back soon because me and my mom are planning to return to Trotcon once they do and turn it into an annual type of thing! DubWolf 17,265 January 23, 2021 Share January 23, 2021 Was fun. Bunch of games, we had a guy hypnotize a group of people, uhh... hmm. They had foosball too. Shoulda played as I would've kicked some butt, probably . It was a lock-in. Thought it was weird that you had to stay in all night though. Can't remember what else we did. Envy 6,169 January 23, 2021 Share January 23, 2021 I remember it was in the gymnasium area and I remember I spent a lot of it with my ex (who was just my friend at that time, and NO I did not like her like that back then), and some of my other friend group. It's been over a decade now. I hardly remember a lot of it. I went back to my LJ to see if I had written anything about it back then, and all I wrote about it was "Overrated." LOL. So edgy. *rolls eyes* I mean there must have been some reason I actually went to the after party. Wonder if it was my friends being there. 1 Everything needs more woodwind! Northern Star 1,024 January 23, 2021 Share January 23, 2021 Mine was basically a meal/family reunion with some neighbors. One classmate stopped by, but that was because they(his parents) were looking for my dad... So considering that we dont really have family reunions(unless there is that rare chance that everyone's schedule lines up perfectly), and most of the time I only get to see my entire family at funerals or weddings, I liked it. Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,617 January 23, 2021 Share January 23, 2021 I didn't have one, it wasn't worth it. I didn't have many friends at all and I only "graduated" because the school showed pity towards me. I was part of a special education program and anyone else likely would have failed school outright, but they instead gave me a "certificate of completion". That basically amounts to "We know you are incredibly stupid and a total failure, but we feel sorry for you so here is this. Have fun failing at life." That's not worth celebrating. Neither am I overall.

Early Sunsets 2,107 January 24, 2021 Share January 24, 2021 I went to eat at one of my favorite local restaurants with my family, and that was it. I don't really have big celebrations for anything. They're just kind of weird to me. Here No Longer 5,276 January 24, 2021 Share January 24, 2021 I didn't have one. Didn't feel the need. Though did go out to eat after graduating. Good restaurant food beats gathering a bunch of people to eat a few snacks anyday.
