How many of you are familiar with Coheed and Cambria? What do you think of them?

I am familiar with them. I think I own all of their albums, but I have never seen them live. What turned me on to them was the trailer for that animated movie 9. They used the song “Welcome Home” in the trailer and it got me interested in their music. Obviously, I am a fan of them. I like the emo/punk sound they sometimes have. I also like Claudio Sanchez’s voice. He reminds of the singer from Rush.

I like the band and some of their music, but It's hard for me to like all their songs.

YES! FELLOW CHILDREN OF THE FENCE!!! I absolutely love the band and the story Claudio has made with his brother. If you havent already, check out The Prize Fighter Inferno:

I got my family hooked on both. My mom told me they sounded like Yes or Rush. Bands from the late 60s. Im kinda a diehard fan....i like almost all their songs except a few from their 2010 album titled Black Rainbow.
