I'd think it was weird if my fiancee romantic roleplayed always with the same girl, and then set his status as engaged to her. Obviously there is some off-screen business going on. And the fact that he didn't pounce on you when he had the chance would only further my suspicious. I love roleplaying, but I keep my rping purely platonic and I always switch it up who I'm romantically involving 'myself' with. It would get boring, always rping with the same person. Unless, rping wasn't just a game anymore.

It wouldn't hurt to ask what the whole engagement thing was about. it definitely deserves some attention and shouldn't be ignored.
