Does anyone notice Applejack having something against other fruits lately?

Yeah, that's due to the explanation of bad, lazy writing.

Well, that's another fruit to add to list of fruits that had to do with her one way or another:

She farms Apples

It's not that she dislikes all the other fruits so much as Apple is her favorite and she thinks that should be the case for everypony. The apple farm also does better if that's the case so she's pushing for her opinion as well as her business.

How is it bad, lazy writing? It's a running gag through out the series. It's a pretty funny joke too when you think about it

Not really funny, but it's the gag they chose for AJ.
