I think it has a lot more to do with the fact that the characters in question are not human than the fact that they are fictional. But yes I would not be surprised if some of the hard core clopper haters are in fact closet cloppers themselves, it is one thing to not like or agree with something or even just not really be your thing but to imply that people like that are "making us look bad" is a bit harsh.

that's kind of one reason why I don't show this complete un-quenchable hate towards cloppers.  the fact is i just think its different. its not some horrible crime against nature or something. although it is true one bad apple can ruin the bunch in some cases there is still no room for people to just go around placing unreasonable stereotypes o everyone they don't understand.

Also, I agree with everypony saying that society makes it hard for anyone to admit they're different, because (almost) everyone else is close minded and will shun you out from their group. And those who are open minded about others opinions, will likely just play along with everybody elses "you like something I don't like, you're gay" act. So.. There seems to be quite  a lot of negativity towards cloppers. I think the question of this thread was a yes or no question, and not the kind of question you get insecure about and exaggerate your simple yes or no opinion on. I think the reason we're all insecure about it is one of the 2. Either you're too non sexually loving towards the show to be sexually loving towards it.... Or... Because they're animated ponies, and not animated humans. If they were humans we wouldn't feel as strongly about it. We wouldn't feel as strongly about it because of basic society. Society= It's not normal or average so it's not okay, and I need to strongly stress on my opinion about it. What I'm going to say next is crazy, but it's the truth. The ponies in the show were intended to look good. Good, but not sexy. When you're having sex, don't you want your partner to look good? Don't you ever fantasize about the perfect man or woman? Things look good depending on opinion, and when some of think something looks just aesthetically pleasing, some of think it looks good sexually, better than just pleasing. I know I'm jumping around a ton with this reply, but I'm trying to get my point across, every bit of it. Look, in a nutshell, my opinion is, whatever floats your boat. And at the end of the day, MLP:FiM is far from realism, and far from ugly. And as far as I'm concerned, far enough to get some people sexually hooked.

Let me just start by saying GOOD CELESTIA WHO REZZED THIS THREAD?

 

Okay then. At the time of posting (like ten billion years ago) I was a new brony who was accused by his mother of being sexually attracted to ponies. So yeah my jimmies were rustled and I voiced my opinion very strongly. I was also unsure of how common that notion was at the time and I really did want to hear other peoples thoughts on the matter.

 

Now about the paraspriting part... That might be 20% true. I will admit that I crafted my post to be somewhat controversial and ambiguous to attract attention. Because you know, I'm an attention whore. Or I was.

 

The cat comparison was ONLY used to convey my OWN personal sexual attraction (or lack thereof) to ponies as depicted by the T.V. series. I am absolutely not imposing my own feelings on anyone else. That cat example was just a clear way of expressing my personal feelings on the topic.

 

Pony fan-art is a different topic. I honestly doubt there is a single brony on the planet who isn't sexually attracted to at least one piece of sensual fan-art. Hell you could draw a sexy version of Spongebob Squarepants for Luna's sake...

Well, I suppose I should my 2 cents in on the issue.

 

Short answer: They can be.

 

Long answer: I do find certain ponies (Mostly Twilight) to be attractive, but that mostly has to with their personality. A girl like Twilight would be my dream girl. However, I do not find them sexy as they appear in the show. In fan art, however I do. And to me, there is nothing wrong with that. Clopping DOES NOT equal bestiality. The MLP ponies are sapient, and as intelligent as humans. Real life ponies aren't. No, I haven't clopped and probably never will, but I still get a bit offended when cloppers are insulted.

 

So, in conclusion:

 

Ponies can be sexy.

 

There is nothing wrong with clopping.

Actually I think Rarity is psychologically the most complicated of the Mane 6. Yes she's a doll, but she's also a person... a deeply flawed person, and the fact that her outer beauty doesn't neccesarily reflect any inner beauty is... rather profound I think. But she is... very deep down... essentially a good person despite her flaws. She grapples with her flaws, she's the element of genorosity despite being the greediest of the 6. Doing the right thing is hard for her, and when she does it leaves her drawn and exhausted (like at the end of Sweet and Elite when she finally came clean, telling the truth was a difficult thing for her). She's at odds with herself, and insecure despite her confident poise (her quaint midwestern touristy parents somehow said a lot), she has far more depth than a glass of water.

4) I don't want to know anything x related you did, so why are we talking just about clopper in that criteria ? I don't want to hear about that you f****d your wife last night and I don't want to know you fapped to Paris Hilton last night or that you clopped last night. Neither of that. So why always people talk in that way just about clopping?!

 

5) About clopping itself... It can be consider as taking your feeling to another step. As lucky as some might be and find true love among the existing, for some people clopping is as far as they can get close to pony they love.

 

EDIT: Oh one more thing. Comparing human porn to pony porn.... pony porn is much more tasteful, they still keep their dignity. TBH I feel more ashamed that I watched human porn than that I watched pony porn. You could really say that I'm proud that I watched pony porn   Whatever .. strange feeling but it's complete truth. Though I don't agree with everything you have written that's a pretty good post in my opinion.

Those half-naked people irritate me a lot too. I think it's pretty annoying and sometimes disgusting for a person who don't want to see that all the time.

My girlfriend likes those stuff a lot and sent me a s***load of those considered romantic/kinky/teaser pics where a couple is having sex, without it being porn and I was really irritated and the discussion afterwards was something like this:

"Why should I want to see a random couple almost having sex on a picture?"

"Because it's hot and romantic?"

"Nah, that's just...uhm...creepy."
