Dynamo's ears perked as he heard Cocoa's words of reassurance. In just a matter of a moment, he could feel his nervousness start to fade. He smiled softly as he nodded his thanks to the unicorn mare. 'For some reason, I believe her words. Is it because we're friends, or is it something else?' He grinned and jumped for joy as Aerion and Cocoa had managed to destroy the stone fragment.

The blue unicorn turned back towards ghost Twilight, ghost Spike and the others as he could feel his magic was finally returning. He nodded as he stood next to Lektra, who was beginning to fight back against her nightmares. "Lektra is right. You're not the real Twilight Sparkle and you never will be. I may not have ever met her in person, but I know she was a great pony and a true friend. She helped tried to spread friendship across Equestria. What you're doing is not right and you'll be nothing more than a fake." Just before she vanished, he managed to hear a final warning from the nightmare Twilight. "Maybe, but I don't think that will ever happen. As long as Lektra keeps hold of the good times and has her friends by her side, then she'll never fall to darkness like you, fake." He narrowed his eyes as he knew he wanted to keep his friends safe.

As he saw Lektra head over to him and the others, Dynamo was caught off guard as Lektra pulled him and the others into a hug. At first, he blushed as he didn't expect her to hug him right off of the bat. After a moment, he smiled as he returned the hug without a second thought. "You're welcome and you don't have to thank us, Lektra. That's what friends are for. I wasn't just going to leave you to suffer like that. I'm just glad my plan worked. To be honest, I was afraid I'd fail. It was a 50/50 chance, but I'm glad it all worked out. We work well like a team, in my opinion." He says, smiling as he looked over to Aerion and Cocoa. 

As Princess Luna had appeared from the shadows of the convention statues, Dynamo's eyes widened in surprise as to what she had told the group. "This was all a test? Even when Lektra was going through such an ordeal? I mean, what was the test even for?" He tilted his head in confusion as he didn't quite understand what was going on. He looked around to see that the convention was back and everything was right in the world of dreams. "I guess we can stay for a bit. I mean, a convention is a convention. What do you all think?" He asks, before seeing a solid and not evil looking Twilight and Spike materializing next to Lektra. He smiled sadly as he didn't blame her for letting out a few tears. She had gone through a lot and he knew this was probably the first step in the healing process.

"Majesty" he knelt at the presence of luna but he was also confused by the hole situation

I looked at Luna who seemed to be enjoying some attention. "How long can we stay here princess?" I just kinda moved into a hug with Twilight and Spike. After being tormented by basically them for hours, I couldn't quite get that out of my head yet

"As long as you like, or as little. This isn't a night dream any more, so no time will actually pass in the waking world if you choose to stay for a while." She said this matter of factly

"Uhuh." I pondered for a moment and turned to the others. "I'll stay if you guys want to stay?"

"I bid you adieu, friends. When Lektra wakes up, you will too. It is her dream." She then left the same way she came in, just like that

"Oh sure, saddle me with the exit like I know how this actually works?" I said this to no pony in particular

As he listened to Lektra’s remark, he chuckled slightly, before nodding in understanding. “Oh, don’t worry and trust me. I tend to become indecisive on some things from time to time. Whether I’m at a convention or picking a new game, it’s always terrible to decide.” At the mention of time not passing as long as they were in Lektra’s dream, Dynamo smiled as his choice was made clear. “I think I’ll stay for a bit and enjoy the convention. If Princess Luna says that time won’t pass by in the real world, then I think it’s our best interest to take part in the convention. What do you guys think?” He asks, smiling at Lektra, before looking over to Aerion and Cocoa.

Aerion just shruged and smiled and said "Well I can't say it would be a bad idea to hang out with you guys, I came out for an early flight even after a party, but I find myself in a very interesting situation with you guys so, heck why not?" he said as he smiled at all of them

"Are you alright?" She asked, "Please say that you're okay." She begged, tears running down her face that she didn't notice.

Dynamo smiled as he looked back to Lektra. "I guess that answers your question if you wanted us to stay or not. We can all hang out, enjoy the convention and then we can all wake up. I know I have an arcade to apply to for a job, but I really want to spend time with my friends."

Dynamo nodded in understanding as he listened to Cocoa's explanation. "It's okay and I know what you mean. It depends on if I'm playing a game, or if I see a friend is hurt or sad, then my emotions can get the better of me." He says, remembering that he was the same way when he lost his father and when he was able to honor his memory. He used his front right hoof to wipe away any tears that were in his eyes, before taking a deep breath and exhaled to calm himself down. He looked back Lektra and nodded. "We're right here for you if you ever need to talk about anything, Lektra. That's what friends are for, after all."

Hot Cocoa hugged the two tighter, her tears growing heavier by the second. 

"Don't..." She sniffled, "Please don't scare me like that again." 

Although she had pulled away, she still had one hoof around his shoulder, "Hehe... I'm sorry." She said, wiping some tears away, "I'm making a scene."

I was speaking a bit muffled. "Sorry, it's just been a lot to process. I've experienced this dream a couple of times and it never ended well. I got caught, and then I passed out while being tortured by the monsters and it started again" I sniffled. "I mean, my love is still dead in the waking world. I don't think I'll ever be truly and really okay, but it's nice to know I have you guys."

I let out another sniffle and tried to calm a bit. All this realization washed over me all at once all over again. Was it working? I really was trying to calm down

Dynamo was caught off guard as he was pulled into a group hug with Cocoa and Lektra. He soon smiled softly as he returned the embrace and joined them in the group hug. He felt Lektra had buried her face in Dynamo's and Cocoa's shoulders, but he honestly didn't mind. He was there for a friend and he was happy to have 3 of them right here with him. He had a little trouble hearing upon listening to Lektra's muffled reply, but he felt he had gotten the gist of it. "Please. There's no need to apologize. I'm just glad we were able to stop this nightmare from happening again and again." As the yellow mare sniffled, Dynamo began to pat her back gently as a way to help give his friend some comfort. "I know that this pain may never be able to go away, but I know time will help heal these wounds. I admit that I still miss my dad, but I know he's always watching over me. Wherever my dad and Princess Twilight are, I just know that they are watching over us. They'll always be in our hearts to help give us the strength to keep moving forward. Just know that you don't ever have to go through this alone, Lektra. If you ever need to talk about this, then I'm here to listen. I know that the others are here for you, as well."

Dynamo looked over to Cocoa as he felt her grip upon his shoulder had tightened slightly. "Hey. It's okay, Cocoa. You're not making a scene. To be honest, I can tell that you truly care for your friends. I know we all just met yesterday, but you all mean a lot to me, you know?" He tried wiping his eyes with his forearm, but he felt a tear had escaped from his left eye and cascaded down his face.

Dynamo looked back over to Aerion and tilted his head, before looking around at the convention was still going on. He turned back to Aerion and extended a hoof out to him. "At least join us in the group hug, Aerion. We can't complete this hug without you, right?" He says with a soft, yet caring smile.

Dynamo smiled as he saw Aerion had finally joined in on the group hug, before shaking his head. "No need to apologize and nothing is awkward, Aerion. We are all friends and I think this group hug was really needed. It's like we've all gone through a lot from time to time, but now we can all be there for one another." He looked towards Lektra, while taking note of her remark. "I'm glad it all worked out too, but it won't just be for this time. I know everything will be okay and everything will work out all the time. It's always good to look on the bright side from time to time." He says, smiling once more as he continued to hug his friends.

As Lektra had stood up to wipe her tears away, Dynamo stood up and nodded wholeheartedly. "I think the convention sounds like a lot of fun. We can go visit the convention and see what it has to offer. Afterwards, we can wake up and plan out on where we go from there. Now, who's up for an adventure of convention proportions!?" He asks, looking to everyone with a wide grin.

Hot Cocoa just shrugged, not really wanting to be here but knew better that to say that out loud. She just wanted to go back to her own dreams. This convention did nothing for her.

I woke up in my living room hugging my metallic Twilight Sparkle plushie. I stretched and yawned, hoping everyone else made the trip back alright as well. It was still early in the morning, like we didn't just spend at least six hours doing things

Hot Cocoa groaned, rubbing her head. She looked at the time, paniced, then ran out of the room with nothing but her apron on, brushing her hair as she ran away.

"Bye everypony!" She shouted, "I have to go to work now!"

Rose placed the rest of the newspaper down and stretched out her hind legs. The newspaper had circles and lines throughout it. She folded the rest of it and started working on the puzzle to pass the time.

Rushing inside to punch in, she came out levitating her notepad and pen in the air, pausing when she saw Rose.

"Hey!" Hot Cocoa greeted, both pad and paper at the ready.

"Nice to see you again. Now, how may I help you today?"

Rose's ear flicked slightly, then she looked up and smiled when she saw the waitress from yesterday. She said as she rested her hooves on top of the completed puzzle, "A hot coffee, and I would like to apply for the job, if it's still open."

"Absolument!" She said, using the French word for absolutely (as per habit). She winked just to be silly, "I'll be right back with your drink and your application!" 

She wrote everything down and entered the kitchen.

Dynamo had groaned as his eyes began to slowly open. As he sat up, he looked around the room as his mind tried to process what was going on. He had noticed that Lektra and Emerald were awake, but Emerald had just ran out of the house. Once he used his front hooves to rub the sleep out of his eyes, he began to realize that he had woken up from the dream. “Good morning, you guys. That was a crazy dream, but it’s good to know everything is okay. That convention was pretty fun, in my opinion. Does anyone know what time it is?” He asks, looking around to find a clock or time.

I turned to Dynamo, just trying to get my bearings. I clapped my hooves and thought of a grilled cheese sandwich, actually relieved that nothing happened.

"Okay good, we're really up." I posed my metallic plush back into a standing position as there was a pop and a crackle of Speed Bolt leaving for work

"Yup it was pretty fun, but I don't remember all of it. I'm still kinda processing what happened before. As I said earlier I'm not really fully ok, I'm just better. I don't think I'll ever reach acceptance, as I just flat out refuse to believe Twilight is gone. Out of sight, out of mind. Keep myself busy." I turned to Sparky who was just staying by the door. "Sparky says only a couple of hours have passed since you all entered my dream. It's still morning. I guess we could get on with our day? I could have Sparky call my sister to take us back to town rather than walking or flying."

That reminded me of something.....

The Pegasus still hadn't woken up. I poked him with a hoof, trying help him wake up. "Hey are you okay? What's your name again? We haven't been formally introduced yet. Also did I actually leave my door unlocked? How did you get in?"
